We paid CAN 80$ a night for an ocean view bungalow. The water in the shower was really cold and the drain in the shower didn’t work properly, so you’re standing in your own soapy dirt. Works to build new units are going on right next to the bungalow and the surrounding yard is not really kept clean and has litter lying around. The “resort” boasts a private beach for those bungalows, but after going down the stairs, you end up at a tiny little strip of a rocky/sandy beach with lots of seaweed in the very shallow water. Not very appealing. The public beach downtown is more attractive, to be honest. Also, on our first night, some visitors were howling in the microphone “showing off” their karaoke skills till 10 PM. Not the kind of peace and quiet I was expecting in a “resort”. Anyway, what approaches Nataasan most of a ”resort” is the price it rents it’s rooms for. And the “parking lot” is a mud pool lacking space, just like it was 10 years ago. Honestly, we are rather disappointed about our stay here when you take the cost into consideration. Oh, and when you pay with a credit card, there is a 5% (!!) surcharge. On a positive note, the pool was nice.
