Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach

Wszystko jest tutaj super początek z doskonałymi posiłkami, położeniem bezpośrednio nad morzem, bardzo miła obsługa. Piękne miejsce na spędzenie nawet krótkich wakacji. Jest wiele ciekawych miejsc, do których można łatwo dojechać samochodem, takim jak Porto Cervo.

Excellent Hotel located in the most beautiful setting. Hot days were a little hit and miss but still plenty of sunbathing days for the time of year.

We had a wonderful holiday and felt really well looked after. The whole place was so well managed and clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, we were both delighted with our stay.

Great hotel in a great location! Breakfast had a good selection but a choice of eggs would have improved the selection. Staff were very attentive and friendly and always ready to serve coffee. The hotel rooms are a bit dated and we had one of the side view sea view which did have the advantage of sun in the afternoon and a nice storage area for clothes and bags. The beach was small but we didn’t struggle getting a spot and there was a choice of beds by the pool, this I appreciate may not be the case during peak season. The piano bar did have the feel of a Richard Clayderman concert and I feel like a different choice of pianists with some livelier tunes would improve the atmosphere somewhat! The town which is close by with a few restaurants is lovely but there is not a huge choice of restaurants so bear this in mind. I would go back but I would hire a car so I can explore the area more.

Our stay was perfect, the hotel is a traditional style set in an amazing position. It has lovely gardens, lots of small pools, fantastic restaurant and its own private beach. We opted for half board and had a sea view room which was definitely worth the extra money as the view was spectacular. Breakfast was good and the four course evening meals were outstanding with choices of fish, meat and vegetarian options a much better option than the buffets that you would find in most hotels. If you opt for half board you can also swap your evening meal for lunch which we did a couple of times, we thought this was a really nice touch because it gave us chance to try some local restaurants. We would definitely recommend Foodie the restaurant across the road from the hotel. Each evening they had a piano player in the bar which has an amazing terrace overlooking the pools and beach, the cocktails were fab! The service at the hotel was 6* and the staff were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we particularly loved the restaurant staff and reception team. If you can definitely bring a snorkel as there are lots of little fish to see and if you are thinking of booking a trip the sailboat trip you can book through reception is probably the best boat trip we have ever been on and although it isn’t cheap it was worth every penny. We also caught the bus to Porto Cervo which was easy to do, the bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away located by the park and reception will give you a bus timetable if you ask. There is also a small supermarket, bars, restaurants and an amazing ice cream shop all within walking distance. We saw that a few people on here had struggled to find loungers by the pool but we never found this an issue. We would 110% recommend this hotel and hope to return very soon.

Returned to this hotel as we had enjoyed our stay there 2 years ago. The breakfast was of the same high standard and the evening meal gave us a good choice of menu. Our waitress Denisia was excellent and we enjoyed quick service. We remembered the beds being very firm the last time we stayed and were delighted that the bed was much more comfortable. We were pleased with the light weight duvet instead of a blanket.
