La Casa Nizami Hotel

Searching for a hotel on baku we got a 4star hotel la casa nizami.But no facilities for a 4star hotel.No elevator,not accepting credit cards they only accept cash,drinking water they provided is pipe water,it's not a kids friendly hotel.only thing is it's in nizami street.we confirmed ticket with late check out.but they didn't allowed our kid is sick at that time they not allowed to enter a room.Its a terrible experience in baku and the lady staffs in this hotel they are very good.we then changed to intercontinental baku.Baku is a very good place but scammers are everywhere.

GA NIET NAAR DIT HOTEL! HET ZIJN OPLICHTERS! We hebben dit hotel via ******* geboekt in december 2022 speciaal voor de formule 1 30 april. Bij aankomst in het hotel bleek onze boeking niet bekend te zijn bij hotel terwijl ik toch echt de bevestiging van ******* in mijn hand had. Daar had personeel geen boodschap aan. We zijn zeer onbeschoft behandeld door personeel. Ze gaven aan geen boeking te hebben en ze werkten ook niet samen met *******. Daar stonden we dan met onze bagage vroeg in de ochtend na hele nacht te hebben gevlogen. Hotel probeerde ons nog wel een kamer aan te smeren voor een bedrag 4x zo hoog als dat we geboekt hadden. Een grote scam is het. We zijn boos weggegaan en hebben 7 uur rondgelopen in Bakoe om een hotel te zoeken. Alle hotels waren vol ivm Formule 1 weekend. Gelukkig vonden we uiteindelijk een hotel waar nog een kamer vrij was. Dit hotel moesten we wel nemen voor veel te veel geld want anders hadden we op straat moeten slapen.

⚠️ WARNING, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM⚠️ We where in Baku over the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend (28-30). We booked and payed for this hotel via a legitimate partnering website in december 2022. We received confirmation about the booking (and the payment) and it DID not appear to be anything wrong. When we arrived at the hotel after a long flight from Stockholm (Sweden) we spoke to two men at the reception desk, they did not speak pro efficient English. They said that they did not have any rooms left and that they did not receive any booking or payment and that they did not partner with the website mentioned above. We Contacted the booking website and got confirmation that they had indeed received confirmation from the hotel. We spoke to an amazing gentleman over the phone who helped us in our search for a new hotel. Unfortunately, because of the Formula 1 weekend I mentioned above, all hotels within a radius of at least 10 km from the city core. We resorted to walking around and talking to hotels in the close proximity (for 6 hours) to see if they could squeeze us in somewhere, but to no avail. The last hotel we visited was full but the wonderfull owner knew a guy who rented out his apartment during the weekend. After 6 hours of an emotional rollercoaster we managed to find something whit the help of locals. However, this does not mean that the possibility of us ending up on the streets because of a greedy unserious scamming buissnes felt any less real. I hope for the wellbeing of my fellow fans of Formula 1 aswell as my fellow tourists and travelers that you do not Book, visit or make any kind of buissnes with this awfull establishment.

Booked several months in advance, payed and got a confirmation. One week prior to our trip I received a mail welcoming us to Baku and to our stay at La Casa Nizami. Upon arrival to Baku and La Casa Nizami we got a huge unpleasant surprise. They did not have our booking, they said they didn’t get the payment and didn’t want to look at my confirmation or invoice. I’m sure they sold our room to somebody else due to the Formula 1 race during that weekend. As a result two of us had to sit for four hours on the phone trying to get somewhere to stay while the other two went to see the race. Six hours later we managed to rent an overpriced apartment instead of spending the night outside. Everything is sold out in Baku during these events and this so called hotel scammed us totally. Don’t book it if you are not prepared for a russian roulette, maybe get a room or maybe not…

We booked and paid the hotel in December at *********. This was for the Formula 1 race in Baku 28-30 April. We got a confirmation, but when we arrived at three o’clock in the afternoon they had sold our room and said that they didn’t have got our reservation. We contacted ********** and they said the confirmation was correct and tried to reach the hotel that didn’t answer. Don’t book this hotel. They are greedy and definitely not reliable.

My partner and I stayed here recently and it was just what we needed. The location is absolutely perfect, right near old town, food, shopping and the sea. The staff were kind and Emma who cooks your breakfast is the best. It's a simple hotel, bare nessesities with friendly staff and right in the heart of it all. We felt it was a great value for money and would definitely suggest it to friends who are on their way to Baku!

What a lovely place, its location is in the best area of Baku, the property is cozy and clean, very friendly and helpful receptionist and the breakfast is so delicious... Simply, it's a nice place....

Это был кошмарный первый день в Баку. Приехали по адресу, указанному в ваучере, бронировали dbl deluxe city view через ostrovok, бронь была оплачена. В отеле сказали, что в Этом здании мест нет и увели в другой, метров 400-500 от указанного в ваучере. Номер был грязный, вместо kingsize bed, twin, шторы рваные, рваный диван. В этот номер и здание мы селиться отказались, нам невежливо сказали, либо это либо ничего. Связались с нашей системой бронирования, через час-два разбирательств нам сказали, что якобы мошенники нас перехватили и увели не туда, чтобы мы возвращались. Мы пришли в отель после 7 вечера и снова - вашей брони нет. После телефонных звонков какому то человеку, выяснялось, что в отеле заезд до 7 вечера, наши номера проданы, деньги нам возвращать отказывались, пришлось подключить руководство ostrovok и на следующий день деньги нам вернули. В этом отеле сплошной обман, очень неприятное впечатление в первый день было
