The Grand is without a doubt all about the location! Given it’s ocean front position it should offer an absolute premium experience but instead falls a little short as it continues to date without much sign of refurbishment. The rooms are basic, the carpets old, the furnishings aging and everything just feels in need of some love. Bathrooms still have showers over the bath with shower curtains and the air con in the room wasn’t very effective (too hot despite being on the coolest setting). There was also a wedding being hosted during my 1 night stay and despite my room being on the 5th floor (ballroom is on level 1), I could hear the band/music until the end of the reception at 11:30pm. On the positive (besides premium location), the staff at reception / concierge were excellent. They greeted with absolute care on arrival and happiness during check out, despite being early in the morning. It felt like they enjoyed what they did and that’s so good to see in customer facing roles. Worth considering this hotel for a stay, just as long as you’re happy with basic ammenities in a great location.

Lovely, clean apartment, excellent location for walking around Adelaide CBD. I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and 4 year old, we had a 2 bedroom apartment. Excellent value. The apartment was very clean, has a kitchen containing most things you would need, although we didn't actually cook any meals, just used plates etc for serving take away, so can't comment on the cooking equipment. Full size fridge, plus a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and hair dryer meant the apartment was very well equipped overall. The Tv is a smart TV so we could use abc kids for our 4 year old and presumably you could log in to your own streaming services. The only thing to take note of is that the desk is only manned during business hours and there is no check in option after 9pm, I didn't realise this (my fault for not checking), so we had to book a cheap hotel near the airport for our first night as we flew in after 10pm. We checked in around 9am the next day. It's a short walk to Rundle Mall so you have lots of eating and shopping very close by. Parking available in secure carpark $25 per night, but do make sure you book ahead as there are limited spaces.

Very professional staff with a great product. I had no issues with anything. My room was well equipped, spacious and more important clean. As I travel on business I like a cup of tea in my room. Couldn’t find any teabags even though there was milk in the fridge. I would have appreciated a cold bottle of water supplied in the fridge.

The house was cleaned, there was no window, but there was a balcony, and the side wall of the balcony was made of glass, and the lighting was good. Take a taxi to the airport for more than ten minutes, about 20 Australian dollars. Not far from the beach, next to the Chinese Consulate. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel's more than 100 meters gas station. Check-in for half a day can be considered. The only bad thing is that the room is not Wi-Fi.

The attention to detail was shown from when were greeted when we got out of the car and taken to reception.The location of the hotel was convenient to get to our business calls as well as walking distance to shops and restaurants.My only disappointment was the club access which l felt was not up to the Pullman standards we have experienced at other Pullman hotels. I would still recommend this hotel when staying in Adelaide.

Easy check in and parking available. The rooms were big. The windows and carpet need a deep clean but the location is great and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The shower in the main bathroom however is not accessibility friendly as you need to step into a high bathtub with no handrail for support.

The hotel is clean and quiet. It is a rare garden-style low-density apartment complex with a garden. There are large city parks around and the environment is good. There is a kitchen in the room where you can cook your own food. The living room and dining room are also spacious and suitable for families with children. The only thing that is lacking is that there are no supermarkets, convenience stores, etc., and it is not convenient when you need to buy things temporarily. Overall worth recommending, cost-effective.

I’m so obsessed with this place, it honestly has got to be my favourite motel that I’ve ever stayed at. From the beginning the underground car park is a little confusing to find as it’s off a little side street with two little garage doors (not the hotels fault) it’s just the way the streets are. But when you walk out of those lifts into the lobby you’ll be blown away by just how modern and brand new it all is. We got a upgrade upon check in which was so nice and when we walked through the door my first words were “oh my gosh, this is beautiful” literally everything is so brand new, carpets are still so fluffy to walk on, everything was so clean, not even a speck of dust anywhere. Bed was comfortable, tv in living area and also in the bedroom was nice, I didn’t use them as I only stayed for 1 night but the dishwasher and washing machine would come in handy to so many families staying for a bit longer. And to top it off I didn’t hear a single thing from anyone else staying in the motel during the night. 100% will stay again and I reckon this has to be THE best accommodation in the whole of Adelaide

We stayed here last night as we were going to The 10cc concert. Arrival was swift and easy and the room was already available. Our room was a junior suite facing North Terrace, it was clean and quiet. We enjoyed 2 complimentary drinks from the bar. They have refurbished the hotel but I think the bar looks a touch bland and not welcoming. I would have thought that there would have been sanitiser available on all levels by the lifts and in the room also. The shampoo, soap etc no longer comes as individual packs but huge bottles and being still in Covid times I thought this a bit off putting. Breakfast was ok nothing special and luckily we had ours included or it would have cost us $42.00 per person and it was not worth that much. The pre-made pancakes were freezing cold. There was a good range of cereals and the fruit plates were nice but had defrosted and tinned fruit also. I found all the supposedly hot foods not hot but cool venturing on cold and they need to do something about the baked beans as they were nasty. We had a slight hiccup on leaving as we were almost charged for two glasses of red wine which we quickly told the receptionist we never had. She amended that quickly so all good.

非非凡程真Very close to Chinatown, there is a small swimming pool, convenient for children, the room is relatively large, the hotel is quite convenient. The bed is 1.8 meters and the family is not crowded.

GGuest UserVery slow lift. Apartment was poorly designed. All amenities are the cheapest possible. The bed is not comfortable at all to the point that my wife had to sleep on the short couch. Being 6 foot 3 I didn’t fit on the couch so I had to sleep on the uncomfortable bed and wake up with sore hips each morning. The appliances are all good except the tiny TV. The apartment has a large living room and kitchen area but the bed is so close to the closet that the doors don’t open all the way. The main complaint was that the toilet was so close to a shower wall that I couldn’t sit down on it without banging my knees. A little extra space in the bathroom and bedroom taken out of the living room would have made a huge difference. All amenities soap, tissues, TV, sofa, etc. seemed to be the very cheapest available. There is only one plug in the kitchen and it’s behind the microwave.

GGuest UserA truly amazing experience, everyone who is involved here is friendly and so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is top class, the guy running food and beverage is in a class of his own, he has made our stay an experience. Cannot recommend it enough we will make this our place to stay on our visits to Adelaide.

GGuest UserMarch 2024 Here is a list of issues you may have to deal with: 1. Lights are weirdly wired. You can’t turn on the bathroom lights without having the rest of the lights on. This is problematic when one is sharing the apartment and one needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Other guests staying at the apartments had the same issue. 2. It is stated that the apartment has Netflix but it does not work. When I mentioned it to the marketing girl she said she would have it looked at but no one came to the apartment to repair the problem. Again, other guests staying in the apartments had the same issue. 3. When we arrived on the 13th, there was only one tea bag instead of 2. I was sharing the room with my husband, that is not thoughtful, obviously we would have needed 2 teabags. 4. We stayed 5 nights and only had the room serviced once. I had left the tag to service the room but it was only done once. 5. On the Saturday our room was finally serviced but they did not replenish the toilet paper and we were left with none which meant we had to purchase toilet paper as there was no one in reception. If conveniences and service isn't important to you then by all means stay here. The apartments are just off the main road that have lots of great cafes and restaurants. The apartments are brand new, fresh, clean and modern. The staff are helpful and listen to concerns you may have. Read less Tip: An apt description for this place is Location, Location, Location. The apartments are brand new so they are clean, fresh & modern.

PPollyanna315Needing a place to stay and not much to choose from in the North East, we went to Sferas and it was wonderful. Not real happy that they wanted a $150 holding deposit so we make sure we don't wreck the room. This is a fist class place to stay. The room had plenty of space, was clean and the bed and pillows were wondwerful to sleep on. The bathroom was roomy enought to take my walker.The only complaint was the noise beneath up as they had a school graduation.

GGuest UserOur room was on the 10th floor facing south east. We had an amazing view seeing the city, the Adelaide hills and Jetty Road (At night this looked even better). The room was very modern, with a nice sized TV. The weather was great for a beach side holiday. The short 300m walk to the beach was very convenient..... the fridge was very quite and ensured we had ice cold drinks upon return, the air conditioner worked great and allowed a great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable. Check In and Check Out was contactless and very simple.

恰恰好同学The exterior of the hotel is very obvious. The blue exterior wall, at a glance, knows where it is. Ade is a very quiet and comfortable city, and you can park near the street. When I checked in, it was 10 pm. There was no staff. The experience of calling in at the door was wonderful. After entering the room, the room was a certain year, but the room was clean and tidy. It is the mural on the wall of the room. It is a little cautious to live alone. However, not every one is the same mural, and sometimes it is very curious about the aesthetics of foreigners. I am visiting friends and teachers. For my student party, this is a very affordable option. I am very satisfied that the daily cleaning work will clean up the room in a neat and orderly manner, and will not put things in a mess, and the beds will be neatly stacked every day. There are many places to eat around, and this street is not far from the city, even if it takes only ten minutes to walk. The overall housing experience is very good, if you come back to Ade next time, you should still choose here.

GGuest UserGreat hostel and staff. Robert greeted us at check-in and nothing was a problem. We stayed in small 4 bed dorm and was nice and cosy. The building is cool. There is a massive balcony area to have a BBQ and a few beers. 10 min walk to Rundle St pubs. Good pub across the road for beers and pub meal. Parking was good in surrounding area. Thanks Robert for a great stay. 5 stars
