„The room was exactly as shown in the photos on Trip, and waking up to a stunning sea view was easily the highlight of both the hotel and my trip.
The room doors were a bit tricky to maneuver—even though the staff kindly went the extra mile to show me how to open and close them, I gave up after the third try. Breakfast was simple, nothing fancy.
A large bug appeared in the room, which gave me quite a scare. Also, this place isn’t ideal if you’re traveling with large suitcases, but the staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with carrying luggage up and down.
Overall, a beautiful view and warm service, with a few quirks to keep in mind.”

Origin of the B&B: When I first came to this village, I was fascinated by the reeds all over the mountains, so I decided to transform a permanent B&B here. Now with the development of B&Bs in the village, wild reeds are becoming less and less, so we chose to plant the reeds one by one.
„The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent.
The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement.
In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special.
Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.”

„This time Pingtan's homestay is really a surprise! I originally booked it with the mentality of trying it out. After all, it is the cheapest in this piece. I feel quite bottomless. I am afraid that the conditions will be average if I spend less money.
As a result, I was completely relieved when I entered. This is definitely the latest and best one in the surrounding area. It just opened at the beginning of this year. The decoration is all new, clean and comfortable. Compared with the old houses that have lived for two or three years next to it, it is simply a victory.
More outrageous is the location, the sea view is particularly good, you can see the sea blowing while lying on the bed, and the experience is directly full. Other homes around have to sell for more than 1,000 nights, or old decoration, this price is so close to the people, the conditions are the best, the price is really amazing, and the big things are done with less money!

„Really deserves five-star praise! ! (And the key point is that the price of off-peak travel is very cost-effective haha) The B&B is easy to find. It is basically at the entrance of the village. The sign on the roof is large and easy to see. The entrance of the B&B faces the sea, and the scenery is very good on a sunny day. It is very comfortable to sit on the lounge chair and bask in the sun. The coffee made by the boss (probably the boss, haha, he is the guy at the front desk anyway) tastes very good! (It’s really good. My boyfriend, who is a barista, also thinks it tastes good.) When I told him on WeChat that I wanted to get some ice cream, the boss misunderstood me at first. I didn’t even tell him when I got it, so I thought I’d forget it and just drink it. Then after a while, he realized that he had made a mistake and asked me to make a new cup for me. He was still very happy! Then on the first day we came here, he recommended Blue Tears Chasing Group to us. When we went to catch the sea the next day, they lent us the tools to catch the sea and said we could borrow them at will. The people are really nice and enthusiastic~ (Oh, I love the B&B as we walk down to the beach. It’s a stone beach suitable for catching the sea. We were lucky enough to dig up a sea urchin and starfish~) We finally saw Blue Tears thanks to the boss’s real-time broadcast in the tear-chasing group, hahaha. Although the amount was not big during the two days we went there, it was still beautiful. I'm satisfied when I arrive~”

Idealny
DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

HHuashengkeke從福州高鐵去平潭，因為更想沉浸式體驗海所以不想住縣城。在北港村，比較方便，租車自駕環島了一圈，應該是除了龍王頭以外周圍配套最便利的了。出門就有可以趕海的沙灘，有好吃的台灣菜，晚上也鬧中取靜，還有新年限定海上煙花，衞生條件基本滿足個人需求，值得推薦。老闆也是很幫忙，有求必應，算是比較温馨舒適且過年溢價不誇張的民宿。

The location may not be the best during off peak season for convenience to food etc. if you do not drive but I personally enjoyed the peaceful environment. Room is good, cute decor with heated blanket during winter. Its also easy to hire a driver/guide or a scooter to go around the island. Guesthouse owner is super helpful and responsive to all my needs and questions which i greatly appreciate. Had breakfast delivered to my door every morning as I was the only guest in the whole area. It would be a bonus if the guesthouse provides blankets for guests to sit outside to enjoy the view more during winter. Great place!

Ponieważ jest to wakacje w Chinach, jest dużo ludzi, więc jest bardzo trudno kontrolować ruch, ale unikać krajowych wakacji, to bardzo lekka podróż. Odwiedzę cię ponownie, jeśli będę miał szansę w ścianie.

GGość第一次來平潭，被這家民宿環境吸引到，感覺民宿主人很用心對待這一方小小的空間。前台有熱水、咖啡機，還有一間小書房。對面廚房，裏面收拾的井井有條，餐具應有盡有，有餐廳。樓上還有晾衣架、水池、露天餐桌。體驗感太強了。房間也乾淨，衞生間乾濕分離，太棒了。（不夠誇，字數有限衹能説這麼多了）

GGuest User Lives in ChinaHonestly one of the nicest stays I have had in China. Came here for a writing retreat - such an amazing spot! Lovely sunrises, sunsets and nice walks nearby. Very quiet and rural feel - not many people around but great amenities (good coffee shop and restaurant, scooter rental). Staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make my stay exceptional. Breakfast was great for a free breakfast. Don’t recommend going to “chase the blue tears” though unless they are a high level of density - not worth it. Better to just stay and enjoy the peace and tranquility nearby the hotel.

GGośćTen pokój jest bardzo dobry, pokój jest większy niż zdjęcia, pokój i łazienka są duże. Na zewnątrz jest ogromny balkon, gdzie właściciele oferują komfortowe krzesła i stoły. Mieszkał tam w październiku 2-4, właściciel był bardzo entuzjastyczny, przyniósł nam też talerz owoców i przysłał kilka butelek wody. Cena jest co najmniej 100 dolnych w porównaniu do tego samego typu.
