I live in this Zhejiang Yue Hotel on the west road of Shaoxing Ancient City. The south is Datong School, Yueguo Collection Book Building, and Fan Wenlan's former residence. Along the west Xiaohe North, there are Lufu and Wang Yangming's former residences... Three steps and one scene, five steps and one bridge, old house and old view, national treasure place, the tourism value is greatly underestimated.
The hotel is simple and clean, the service is warm, the room is facing the river, and the view is full. Quiet here, it is a quiet place to feel the charm of the ancient city. There is afternoon tea, breakfast variety, and hard work, the bedding is clean and soft. Heated mineral water was also delivered when leaving the store. One thing worth mentioning. We wanted a paper map of Shaoxing tourism, the hotel did not. They managed to get a copy to the tourism department and gave it to us, thank you very much!

Lovely hotel located next to most popular old town street, Cangqiao Street. Also back of hotel is the labyrinth of lovely old waterways. It is set back from main street thru a narrow lane that car cannot access. However is a short lane where you can walk in easily. Or you can call up hotel to pick you up in their golf cart infront of Kong Yi Ji Restuarant on Cangqiao Street (only 5mins away).
Breakfast spread is sufficient and delicious.
Love my hotel room which is large with modern gadgets.
I like to thank this hotel's front desk staff (sorry didnt get her name) who helped me in her off duty time at the side of the hot main street trying to solve my prebooked taxi to Ningbo. The didi rid hailing driver somehow went to wrong pickup address and refuse to budge which eventually i have to cancel it. This wonderful young lady used her mobile app to book my ride cos my app just can't work anymore.
A note on the didi linked to Alipay or wechat, very frustrating experience for a foreigner. It will work fine initially then later keep asking for a new credit card input to proceed. Does not work with the new credit card too. Do setup other rid hailing app. besides didi.
My Ningbo taxi driver said to call this taxi phone no. 95128 in china (standard no. used in whole of china) to get a taxi, but i have yet to try it out.

If you stay in Yuecheng District when traveling to Shaoxing, this hotel is pretty good. Outside the gate is a commercial street with traditional private shops, especially with Jiangnan characteristics. It is very close to Cai Yuanpei's former residence and the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy. Other attractions in the city are not far away, and you can go there by riding a small car. (How come the shared bicycles in Shaoxing are so clean!)
The hotel is very comfortable, and all basic needs are arranged for you. From my one-night stay, the hygiene is also good. The breakfast is simple and comfortable, as shown in the picture. (The shrimp in Shaoxing is especially fresh!)
There are two people at the front desk, one man and one woman, who work 24 hours a shift, but they smile every time they see each other and take the initiative to greet guests. It seems that the salary is in place😄😄

First of all, if you have friends who have booked a tatami room, don't choose room 205. It is completely different from the photos on the platform. It is small and crowded. You will be woken up by the restaurant preparing meals at 5 or 6 o'clock (at least more than 40 minutes)

The hotel is not far from the hometown of Lu Xun, and it is quiet in a busy city. After checking in, they gave me a gift, which was very thoughtful. The room facilities were average, and the pattern of the carpet caused complaints from friends, and it felt dirty. The breakfast was too average, just at the level of a chain hotel, and the key was that almost all of it was cold, only the milk coffee was hot. The shower water was good. Shaoxing old double-storey courtyard house with two entrances. Very artistic. The parent-child room on the second floor is clean. tidy. Bring your own toiletries. I took my kids out to play in the summer vacation. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. I didn’t want to look for hotels everywhere in the hot weather, so I chose the original one. The last stay was good, but this time I was more satisfied than last time. First of all, the front desk was very enthusiastic. The reason for booking, I took my children to play and they told me to visit Lu Xun’s former residence, Lanting, and Jianhu. It is recommended to play in Dongfang Shanshui. Unfortunately, it rained during the few days I came, so I didn't have any outdoor activities. I just walked around and the air was very good. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and the service was in place. The entire building, furniture, and bedding were very high-end. GGuest UserAfter the holiday, I chose the Dongshan Grand View Hotel in Shangyu for a peak trip. The hotel has a simple style, which I like. It is also a unique advantage to have Dongshan Lake. There is no supporting facilities around, but the main feature is a hotel for leisure and relaxation. The hotel facilities are tasteful online, capsule coffee machine, Dyson hair dryer, and the buffet breakfast is also very good. The package I bought includes a tour of the lake. In this weather, it is really pleasant to go boating on the lake, drink tea, and eat snacks. There is a Meiwu Ancient Road 5 kilometers away from the hotel. If you are interested, you can go there. By the way, the hotel's bicycles can be rented for a tour around the lake. The bicycles are very easy to ride. A search on Taobao costs 8,000 per bicycle. The hotel is generous 😅. JJiandandekuailewwI brought my parents to Shaoxing for a trip and booked Dayu Kaiyuan Guantang. First of all, there were not many tourists during the off-peak hours after the holiday, and the whole resort was quiet and comfortable. The room we booked was in the ancient street, with good scenery along the way and convenient eating. There was the Yujia Courtyard where you could order dishes and a small noodle restaurant. The room was on the street, and I was worried whether it would be noisy, but you couldn't drive in. The cars that could be driven were the battery cars that sent guests in the scenic area, which usually ended at 10 pm, so it basically didn't affect sleep. Because it is an old house, the sound insulation is really not very good. The hotel's breakfast is also quite good, especially there is a separate dining table set up for children, which is very heartwarming to look at. I will come again next time I have the chance.

Overall, the sanitation is very clean, the room is very spacious, the home is also very intelligent, the bed is very comfortable, the air-conditioning bathroom and other facilities are also very powerful, the scenery outside the window is also very good, because it is higher than the observation deck, and the view is farther and more complete. Of course, the observation deck is outdoors, and it is not interesting to blow with a small wind.
Then the proprietress of the hotel was also very good, and she was very patient in answering questions. The first time she came out to pick us up, she told us where to watch the sunset better. Other uncles and aunts in the hotel are also very good ～
The homestay is on the street and has its own free parking lot. Because the whole village is not big, it is very close to everywhere. It is very close to eating and watching the sunset. The hotel is very big, and every room can see green through the windows. The hotel serves breakfast until 10 o'clock, which is very suitable for vacation. There are many kinds of breakfast and the waiters are all polite. When checking in, the front desk guy patiently arranged a room for us and showed us the room. When we checked out, he thoughtfully gave us a souvenir, slippers and water, which made us feel comfortable on the way back. A piece of fruit is given in the room every day, and two desserts are given in the evening. We stayed there for three nights and nothing was the same. All this reflects that the hotel's software services are excellent. Although the hotel's hardware is not outstanding, the excellent service awareness still makes me happy to recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel has good internal facilities and beautiful environment. My favorite is the lawn at night, it’s a great place to relax and chat. The swimming pool is also perfect for this summer.
