Most of the wood used in the inn is collected from the ancient houses demolished and built in the mountainous areas of southern Anhui. This old wood, carefully cleaned by the inn, was used in the ceiling and siding of the inn. They recorded the lives of Huizhou people and witnessed the rise and fall of Huizhou merchants.
