Quiet retreat area nestled in the cool mountains. For me a return and for my spouse a first visit. The highlight was a bird watching walk with specialist guide Pak Wayan. Wayan was an amazing spotter and knew all the local birds in English. Apparently he speaks Japanese as well. Even just sitting in the restaurant with morning coffee was a bit of a bird paradise with views over the tree canopy on the slope below. Very comfortable bed, good internet and hot water. Restaurant had excellent vegetarian options. It takes a little more time to get there so so it is not a quick "drop by" place. The small village is the last before going up trails to the mountain for hiking. Try the fern tips dishes - a local treat fresh from the garden.

Un hôtel niché dans la montagne, sous forme de chalets répartis dans le jardin (certains accueillant 2 logements). Le cadre est magnifique, dans la nature, au calme (car un peu en retrait dans la montagne), propice à la détente. La vue de la salle de restaurant est très belle. La cuisine était très bonne, les plats plus fins que ce que nous avons mangé ailleurs sur Bali. La literie est très confortable. Nous avons profité des massages (relaxant et Balinais), juste parfaits. Il a plu en fin d’après midi les 2 jours où nous y étions mais cela n’était pas dérangeant et c’est probablement ce qui permet d’avoir cette végétation luxuriante. Le personnel était sympathique et attentionné, le responsable de la réception nous a même aidé à gérer une difficulté avec notre agence de voyage qui ne le concernait pas. Ils ont à cœur que notre séjour se passe de la façon la plus agréable possible. Un vrai coup de cœur !

Absolument parfait. Nous sommes passé en famille avec 2 enfants de 2 et 4 ans. Le personnel est magique. Nous avons pu faire la cuisine avec le chef un soir. Les repas sont divins, le paysage est parfait. Allez y les yeux fermës. Nous sommes restés 5 jours au lieu de 2...
