Villa Sally

One point for location and another point for friendly service. But, that’s not enough to get me back here. I booked through Luxury Escapes and I expected a minimum standard of accommodation for $490 AUD a night. This place was not good value for money, especially when we are now staying in a five star resort for $525 AUD per night. I’m shocked and disappointed with all the 5/5 reviews for Villa Sally as I don’t think it’s a true reflection of the Villa. If you have a bad back - DO NOT STAY HERE! The beds are like concrete. They put a mattress protector on the mattress, but it did absolutely nothing. The breakfast was ok - but given the proximity to absolutely fantastic cafes and coffee, go and enjoy Canggu foodie culture. If you have kids and decide to stay here, look under the couch cushions etc. I did on our last morning looking for lost items from my kids - what I found was deplorable. I packet of tablets, that contained a drug for men to have a good time. I was horrified that my young kids could have found that! In villa 3 the bedrooms are split upstairs and downstairs which isn’t great with young kids. The Villa smells of smoke and just dirty. It needs a through deep clean of all furniture and soft furnishings. There are much better places for value for money. I can’t recommend this one and won’t be staying here again. Feel a bit let down by luxury escapes, as I booked with them thinking the place would be great. Disappointing, but the location is 10/10.

The staff at Villa Sally were incredible! So helpful and happy. The villa itself was breathtaking and very clean. Every day the staff came in to prepare your room for the evening by lighting insense and getting the bed ready. The breakfast was also lovely. The kitchen area was brilliant and had everything you needed. The tv was a smart tv and WiFi was great so we could watch Netflix. The bathroom was also very impressive and the shower was powerful. We were so impressed and staying here was a big highlight of our trip. Thank you so so so much!!

A great stay in a really spacious and luxurious villa. Fantastic value for money and in a great location close by to some really tasty food and drinks. Walking distance to many spots too - including Finns Beach Club. The property could have been slightly cleaner in parts throughout the villa. Due the the bathroom being outside their was a slight constant bad smell. Staff were friendly and in-villa massages were great value for money.

This place is a joke. Calls itself a 5 star hotel yet resembles more a hostel than anything else. Dirty, run down, low quality construction and furnishing. What are people thinking giving these glowing reviews? Stained towels and linens. Smelly shower water that takes ages to heat up. Slow wifi. Fanta as welcome drink. They charged us USD350 per night which is outrageous given the low quality. Avoid.

This property is well maintained, clean and huge! The staff are amazing and I really can’t rate this highly enough. We had villa8 which was the end of the row (1bed) and the pool gets morning sun (late jan) until around midday. Tv has YouTube, good wifi. They spray the villas daily to ensure minimal insects (mosquitoes are bad in all of Bali) the property is really clean and has what you need for comfort, I would stay here again for sure. Great security. Coffee shop, pizza and warung nearby. You won’t be disappointed! I doubt anyone could have a bad word to say about this place- felt like we were Kim and Kanye on their honeymoon 😂

We loved our stay at Villa Sally, it was a great location and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. The Villa space was beautiful with heaps of room, a great pool and comfortable bed. Great value for money, we would definitely return! Thanks for hosting us.

I rented the private Villa with one bedroom for myself - it was simply stunning! Cozy, luxurious, clean, spacious. Huge outdoor living room and kitchen, enormous bed with curtains and a great bathroom. The staff was so friendly and helpful at all times, brought me breakfast and cleaned the place. I often had visitors, whom I could enjoy the place with. Extra pool towels were not a problem. They fulfiled my every wish - I am for sure going back.

Great place with great location. Amazing service and cleanliness. We are very pleased that we lived in this villa for several months. Special thanks to the staff of the villa, they are the most kind and bright people who helped us in all matters and made our stay as comfortable as possible. I sincerely recommend staying at this villa.🙏🙏🙏

We stayed here for 5 days and absolutely love it, the villa is huge and the staffs go above and beyond to accomodate anything you need. Will definetely come back
