Beside the Villa, is a new built villa hotel, at such the view has been affected, we were allocated room 3, beside the pool was one big green wall with plants and bamboo. A few of our rooms beside would also be affected by the view. Only 2 rooms were not affected, nevertheless the rice field wasn't fully grown, it's just a view of wet mud. Everything else is great, staff were very friendly, food reasonably good and service is just tip top. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Such a wonderful experience! Will definitely recommend staying at Anusara. The place is perfect for a relaxing holiday, but it's also easy to get to ubud or other places on bali. Everybody were so sweet and wonderful. We did both the massage by the pool and the dinner by the pool and will so recommend to do those things. We still talk about our days at Anusara!

Great location and beautiful resort with excellent breakfast. The location was quiet and peaceful and close to town without being in the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing. The shuttle service was convenient to get to town, but the times were limited and drop off location firmly fixed (our driver wouldn’t drop us off to a place that was on the way to the drop off location and we were the only ones in the car) so we ended up having to use Grab a lot.

Anusara was our first hotel/villa in Bali and it was so luxurious and comfortable, as well as quiet. The pool was perfect, as were the 2 showers and huge bath tub. The bed was super comfortable, as was the outdoor pool bed. The massages we got were among the best in our entire 3 week trip to Indonesia. The free breakfast was delicious (get the watermelon juice). The floating breakfast was awesome! The staff was all so kind and genuine. It was just far enough from the center of town, but a close cab ride. If we ever make the 30 hour flight to Bali again, we’d stay here again!

Be careful when booking this property as not all the rooms have a view as we expected , we had room 3 and we thought we would look over the rice paddies but that view has now been replaced by a high wall and villas being built right next door , very disappointing , otherwise it was a great place , but it is 15 minutes north of ubud

10 out of 10 Paradise! The rooms were even more beautiful in person. Having a pool on the private terrace was such an indulgence. The staff went above and beyond for our comfort and happiness. After a long day of touring, we returned to a fant (excel air conditioning) oasis to choose a refreshing dip in the pool, a gentle open-air rain shower, or a leisurely soak in the carved stone tub. We had a massage on the outdoor bed.
Anusara staff shared their culture with us and were curious about ours as well. Miss Agung, Dewa, Wyan, Chyudi, and others made a tasty breakfast included in our rate. We feasted like kings, Indonesian or Western or Vegetarian. Don' miss the fresh blended juices!
The staff was so helpful and friendly. We completely trusted their recommendations, and they told us what to avoid and even recommended a great driver Agung. I liked that they had several full-day and half-day tours that they put together to hit all of the highlights: waterfalls, rice terraces, Sunrise Volcano Hike.
One of the best activities was a cooking class recommended by Dewa - Garlic Bali Cooking Class. We were picked up and brought to the market and taught to choose the freshest ingredients. Then, we returned to the compound for a spotlessly clean, bright, airy class. Everything was laid out to prepare, and we made many courses. The finale was the sharing of the meal we had prepared. Our teacher was very patient, and we learned to respect the skill of the Balinese in cooking.
