Mixed experience. Expected a little bit more.
Pros. Risata is a nice family 3 star resort with great location in the end of jalan segara. Around you may find a lot of cafes, massages, money changers, small shops like Kmart and Minimart. To Ngurah Rai airport is just 10 minutes ride. A good pool with cool water even during hot days. Overall very greeny territory with hundreds trees, bushes and etc.
Cons. Equipment. The hotel is old. We stayed for 3 nights and always experienced air con problems. For 3-4 times we asked reception to fix the problem, they sent "engineers", they arrived and did nothing. Finally on the last day i had to raise to voice at reception to let them finally do something. In a minute they changed our room to some kind of suite with normally working air con. Breakfast. Hundreds of indians, hundreds. Western options are really limited - eggs (you may stay a long line to order omelette), sausages, toasts and thats all. More asian and indian options. By the way 80% of guests in Risata were indians ... Thus, be prepared.
Overall nice hotel but i don't think i would come back.
