Hotel Uyah Amed Spa Resort

Check in process was easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a good location for us and the pools were lovely to relax at!

Very nice resort-style hotel at the beach in the heart of Amed. Nic bungalows, great sea-views, excellent breakfast lunches, very helpful staff. Not your standard western type hotel, but if you like a nice Balinese hotel with very friendly people, two swimming pools and a beach filled with fisherman’s boats, and a short walk over the beach to some excellent warungs, this is it

The property actually is nice but seems not well maintained. The staff also not so friendly and attentive especially the lady who in charge at reception (she said she is 6 months pregnant). I can see her different approach while handling foreigner and local guest which is not an excuse. We pay the same price and even spent more sometimes.

A very, very lovely place to stay. The place is big and it is as one with the nature. I think the photos do not do the hotel's justice. Place is spacious and just very relaxing. I got a room quite close to the beach-- literally less than 30 seconds and I could stand on the sand. It's truly wonderful. The restaurant is great, I was so happy with the food I didn't even bother too much to go find anther place to eat during my 4 days stay. Staffs are welcoming and helpful. They helped me to arrange a ride to the airport. It's hard to imagine what they can do even better. The only thing is that in my last day, the wifi didnt work very well. And I was told because they use solar power or something, if i had a shower too later, there might be no hot water. But that didnt bother me too much. And they have a very cute, playful cat : )

Good morning, I'll start from the start. Arrived at reception and there was nobody to be seen. Dirty! After 7 mins we were greeted by a bell boy I think. Very angry clenched jaw. Not sure what was up with him. Then finally we were greeted by an official. Quite a cold greeting. Explained rules. Reached our room after 30 mins. A ocean view room. All we could see were trees. This was not the room we booked. Not the pictures as described. I voiced my displeasure however the manager was not even onsite to how the buisness was being run. Adaptor No Cutlery No Water pressure No Hot water No. Workers everywhere just sitting on their phones Yes! Bathroom mold is in a dangerous state. The grass hasn't been cut in weeks. The paths are dirty Tools left around the gardens. Fish ponds are green and haven't been turned to circulate. I doubt the fish survived. Next I ventured to have a game of pool. We were told this was 5000. I nearly fell over but I started seeing the whole picture. They were here to gouge every penny out of you regardless of the sour taste it left in you mouth and how we we are being treated. At night there are packs of dogs roaming barking and carrying on all night! I'm now at breakfast and I did mange to get a coffee earlier than breakfast time. Small blessings. To the manager. Please don't leave some generic answer. You have been notified before about the establishment . Maybe you should be onsite to hear your guests concerns.

It’s an older property now but still has a charm about it. The staff are wonderful. When I saw the earplugs in the room I had no idea what they’re for. It’s dogs … the place is crawling with them and they howl, bark and fight during the night. Do yourself a favour a stick the earplugs in before you go to sleep!! Amed beach could do everyone a favour and introduce compulsory desexing of the dogs. Would greatly improve it as a tourist destination

The place is lovely and simple. I recently stayed here with my teenage daughter and it checked all of the boxes; nothing spectacular, but nothing to complain about. The pool was refreshing; people warm. There weren’t a lot of people staying here when we were here so it felt a little quiet, but we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We had massages and dove everyday. The divers were wonderful; however, their English was limited which made me a little nervous because my daughter was just beginning, but it didn’t impact the wonderful experiences we had underwater. All in all it was good enough - we are in Bali how could it not be?!!!

Ideal for wheelchair guests. All areas accessible by ramps. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Good breakfast selection Only problem for disabled guests is the difficulty to enter either of the pools. Non slip tiles and a grab bar on the steps , with no slope at the bottom of the steps would solve this problem

A well set out comfortable hotel in the diving hotspot of Amed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a bar, restaurant and two pools. Dive shop on site and they have a boat. Dive sites out front were good.
