Madani Antique Villas

Madani is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime, exceptional experience which I’d highly, highly recommend booking. There are such a small number of villas at the resort that you feel you are the only people there and get such individual attention. The Hotel use WhatsApp and it results in absolutely fantastic, effective and warm communication they reply within a couple of minutes to any questions/requests you have! The staff are absolutely fantastic - special shout out to Putu who made our time in Bali so happy and magical and who we will miss greatly and Reception who are always greeted us back from our day trips with so much warmth. They also have branded vehicles you can book with staff from the hotel who will take you for day trips to anywhere you want to go for a fee which you agree upfront. The location is absolutely beautiful, in the middle of rice fields with a gorgeous pool. You can really hear the nature at night and the outside bathrooms are very fun to experience! The villas themselves are beautiful and also very clean and the bed was SO comfortable. This hotel goes over and above on every single experience, they are constantly looking for ways to make your stay even better and more enjoyable. I really could praise this hotel forever, but just to say we had one of the best weeks of our lives in Ubud and a lot of that is thanks to Madani! Thanks Madani

We spent nearly 4 days here with the great welcoming and smiley faces everyday. We don't usually have meals at the accommodation but their menu was superb - especially the full breakfast at an affordable price. They usually check on you just to make sure everything will be delivered on time.

The luxury and comfort you get for such an affordable price is amazing. I totally loved the pool, the privacy of the villa and the kindness of the stuff. They also have a new restaurant onsite and everything we tried was very good. I totally recommend this place. One thing to mention. The apar**ents and private pool villas are at different location, couple of minutes by scooter from each other.

We stayed 3 adults 2 nights in a villa with a private pool and 2 nights without a private pool. The villas had everything you could need. Breakfast was included. I liked the fact that they could be chosen from several options. The food is fresh, delicious. We also ordered food from the menu several times. Food could be ordered through the watsup app, which is very convenient. I liked everything very much. One day we ordered to decorate the bathroom at an additional cost, the view we saw exceeded our expectations. The villa with a private pool was located a little further from the main building, but we liked the fact that we could always ask the hotel staff to transport us, free of charge. We could do it simply through the watsup app. It's convenient. Staff, polite, helpful, always ready to help. Internet worked great. We had a great vacation here and told ourselves that if we stay in Bali in the future, we will come back here again :)

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Madani Antique Villa’s. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The Joglo’ villas were rustic, traditional and very comfortable with a fantastic view over the rice fields. It was a very special stay and would thoroughly recommend.

I've returned to Madani as I had a wonderful experience some years ago, but the first night at Madani wasn't so great and I was disappointed. We arrived at the reception, but we found out there are 2 different receptions and the other one was a bot far to walk and they don't have transfer between the 2 locations(it was also a storm that evening). We didn't have hot water for the shower and the room was very dark (the lights are not great). The villa needs to be refurbished as it is getting old already and it doesn't reflect the high price. We ordered the flower bath, but we couldn't enjoy it in cold water. Also cleanliness is not the biggest asset of Madani, there are spots on the mosquito nets, spider webs and many dead insects around (we understand that it's located in the middle of nature, but these are the small details that matters). The next night we were moved to the family villa, which is a bit bigger and I think newer and the hot water was working so this experience was better. We had floating breakfast one morning, which was good looking but the taste was average for the price, not like I remembered, maybe because now they bring the breakfast from somewhere else. Also the response on whatsapp wasn’t the quickest one, but I think it was only one person at that time on reception because of low season. An important mention here: there are big gecko's in the villas so expect to have some noises during night time and also excrements on beddings or tables, this is not uncommon in Bali but for some people it might not be very pleasant. The lobby and garden of the villas are amazing, like paradise, but not for the persons who don't like nature and insects. Family villa was beautiful, I think it is a new construction. The villas are traditionally decorated, with good facilities and beautiful partially outside bathrooms. They provide paid transportation to center of Ubud (before it was a shuttle for free) and many other services if needed. Overall it was a pleasant stay mostly because of the beautiful location and kind staff, but my previous experience from years ago was very different and it's a shame that these villa's charm is disappearing but the price gets higher. Please don't let this happen and try to fix the problems. I would also like to thank the staff for trying to compensate the issues by offering free transfer and for the gift at the end of our stay.

Amazing room with the view on the rice fields and jungle, lovely staff and excellent food. One of the best place to stay in Ubud

Magical Place. This stay was incredible even before I arrived. I spoke to the property to arrange some special events and the communication was superb. On arrival we were met with smiling faces and a villa close to a paradise.The staff went out of their way to make the stay extra special. There is nothing I would change and this stay will be an incredible memory for us for a very long time. I cant recommend this property more. Yuni, Ayu and the whole team are incredible and made a beautiful property even more stunning. They are superstars.

All the staffs were super friendly & Welcoming. A BIG SHOUTOUT to yuni, Sutri, Komang, yanayu and Sita. They were all very prompt to all our inquiries & request. The villa was kept very clean as well, Located in a secluded place, with a calm & beautiful view of the rice fields. Breakfast was great as well, served everyday on time with any additional requests we made. overall for us The food menu had good options to choose from & was value for the money because the food was indeed very tasty. Moreover, Something we really noticed was that all the locals near the area were so welcoming every morning they greeted us with such a warm smile & energy. We would love to go back & stay again. worth it !! highly recommended.
