Rice fields, monkeys in the forest (and sometimes at the property - don't leave food out on your patio/balcony), geckos, ducks, cows, frogs and herons and harvesting of the rice while we were there. You cannot hear anything from Ubud town, only the animals, yet it's a few minutes walk to be in amongst everything. A decent (cold brrr) pool to cool off in and a lovely breakfast and juices each morning. Good WiFi (22Mbps) for video calls home. Staff were lovely, cold drinks, water, beer, Sprite & Coke available to buy. The room had a decent size fridge to keep things cold and the best air conditioning experienced in any hotel ever. It was amazing. Hot water sometimes took a little time to come through, but when it did it was really warm. No TV but not an issue. Plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and a number of drawers. Room was cleaned whenever you wanted it and the whole place had a very chilled out vibe. Highly recommended.
