I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience. The room was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well, which was essential for my stay. I want to give a special shout-out to the manager, Sam, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and was always enthusiastic and professional. Sam speaks fluent English, making communication seamless. He and his team frequently checked in with us to ensure everything was going well, which was much appreciated.
On the downside, the hotel’s location is a bit far from most shopping spots and the BTS, with about a 30-minute walk to the Erawan Shrine. This can make getting around a bit inconvenient, especially since there are no convenience stores nearby. Getting a Grab can also be challenging due to the location.
Additionally, the complimentary water provided had a strange taste, which was a bit off-putting. The pillows in the room were initially too soft for my liking, but after I mentioned this to the team, they provided a slightly firmer pillow the next day, which significantly improved my sleep.
The hotel offers a lot of choices for breakfast, which was a nice touch. However, their transportation service to the airport is quite overpriced—almost five times the cost of ordering a Grab ourselves. This might be something to keep in mind if you’re considering using their service.
One area that could use some improvement is the professionalism of some of the ground staff, as I noticed that they were not as polished as Sam and his team.
Overall, it was a good stay, especially thanks to the efforts of Sam and his team.
