It is the second time that I stayed here and everything is still the same as my first experience! The service, amenities, room cleanliness it is always up to expectations! Have stayed here for many years, always great service. Old style high-rise hotel with large rooms and great views. Marble bathrooms feature both tub & shower and hot water is never a problem. A short hike to the BTS through either a congested soi 5 or quieter residential soi 7. Buffet breakfast is huge but extremely crowded with tour groups early so most comfortable dining is after 8:30 AM. Great value for money but not trendy so if you are looking for the latest & greatest pass on this hotel.

I like this hotel very much. I stay here every time I come to Thailand. On average, I stay here twice a year for 10 nights each time. However, the service in the past two times has made me feel that it is not as good as before. When I came last time, the room was cleaned every day. There is no supply of daily necessities and only one towel. This time, I will leave the room at 10 am every morning and press the signal to clean the room. I will return to the room to rest for a while after 3:30 pm every day, but when I enter the room Later, I found that the room was not cleaned, so I went back to the location and informed the service area staff to arrange cleaning. The room was not cleaned not for one day, but for 3 consecutive days. Please really make me lose my expected plan.

This hotel is brand-new, and has immense potential. It's a shame that I have to write this negative review, but I'm hoping it can spur the hotel to do much better in several areas. We discovered this newly built hotel from a local friend and decided to book four nights during the festive season. Upon arrival, the check-in process took much longer than expected. This was in-part due to the poor command of English by most of the staff. We were assigned a room in Tower A and Tower B. Tower A rooms are much more convenient as the pool and gym are located on the same tower. The rooms itself were great, but there were many small issues which hampered the experience during our stay. For example, the shower drain drains water very slowly, resulting in an overflow everytime you take a shower. The water pressure itself was decent but they need to solve the drainage issues, because we had several different rooms during our stay and every room had the same problem. Other than that, the rooms were great. The power points have USB-A and USB-C inlets, so you don't need an adapter when staying at this hotel, a very thoughtful point. Next, the breakfast buffet was decent. Bangkok hotels are famous for their excellent breakfast buffets. I have stayed in countless hotels in Bangkok, and the benchmark continues to be Centara Grand at CentralWorld for breakfast. Samala's breakfast buffet had a variety of options. The great thing is that the dishes are different every day, so you'll never have a boring breakfast. The bad news is that in terms of taste, its not consistent. For example, there was one morning which had Hainanese Chicken Rice served, and I nearly vomited after tasting it. On another day, there was Green Curry Chicken served, and it was amazing. Speaking of breakfast, I want to highlight the excellent service by Mr. Tong, which I believe is the manager of the breakfast service. Mr. Tong was very attentive and checked-in on us to make sure everything was fine. Interestingly, he spoke much better English than half the front desk staff so perhaps he should be there instead! Last but not least, I want to provide some inputs about the service. It was very inconsistent. Most of the staff at the hotel were very friendly, particularly the concierge, which was amazing at making dining reservations and providing recommendations for lunch/dinner. The front desk staff were also very friendly, and I managed to have a good chat with the front desk manager on several occasions. She had a good command of English, together with a woman who appeared fierce but was very friendly, but the same can't be said for the rest of the staff. They had some of the worse English I have ever seen in any hotel. Bangkok is an international tourist destination, and if the front desk can't get English right, it's better they are moved to other parts of the hotel. This hotel proved to be well above my expectations, it's a 4 stars but you feel like you're in a 5 stars. There are many amenities in the room and the swimming pool on the 12th floor is excellent. The Internet is very fast, which is essential for my work. The location is also very advantageous, very close to the metro and shopping malls. I will definitely book again in the future.

My fiancé stays at this hotel on a regular basis and generally has good things to say about the hospitality the hotel provides starting from the receptionist to room service. On 4th September, she was on my way out from the main lobby at 5:20pm and had forgotten to wear a mask, which is still required in Bangkok. She approached the receptionist, Naleupon K, asking if they had a spare mask, which the hotel should have considering they advertise themselves as being ”Covid Free” and the Golden Tulip is a four star hotel. Surprisingly Naleupon sharply said no they don’t have a mask. She found this strange as it's a Health and Safety issue, so she asked again and the receptionist then handed her a box of N95 masks at the counter and said you have to buy it. She asked “all of it?” To which the receptionist opened the box and said “49 Baht”. She told her not to worry, she would rather buy it from outside. This complaint is obviously not about the small fee, but it's the carelessness and attitude received from the receptionist for a simple request that bothered her. It's unnecessary and spoilt her afternoon.

We used it until the departure of the midnight flight. So I didn't sleep. The building is quite old, but the room facilities are firm. There are also tables, refrigerators and safety boxes. There is also an outlet on the pillow. There is also a bathtub. The size is also a problematic size. It was a room on the 6 floor, but there was a BTS Nana station platform at the close distance ahead of the window of the room. It's quite noisy when the train passes. The room on the side of the Sukhumvit Street on the 5th and 6th floors seems to be the front of the platform. If you want a quiet room, you should request a room opposite to Sukhumvit Street. The location is zero minutes walk from the entrance of Nana Station. Very convenient location, but it is a hotel for people who want to stay reasonable because it is old.

PROS: The hotel is conveniently located, abt 10 minutes walk away from Victory Monument BTS stn or Ratchaprarop Airport Rail Link (ARL) stn. Travel time on the Airport Rail from Suvarnabhumi Airport is 30 min. Service is good and there is a wide spread for the breakfast buffet (Western + Asian). CONS: The walls are very thin. I had 2 different noisy neighbours who disturbed my sleep at around 2am and 4am. I could literally hear them word for word (didn't understand as they were speaking Thai). Also, I was on the 2nd floor by the roadside and could hear the traffic. It was an OK experience. Towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, toothbrush, toothpaste and cotton buds were provided.

My stay for celebrate my birthday at Sindhorn Kempinski is very memorable impressive. My room is grand premier room. This room is spacious and all well maintained. With craftsmanship card and delicious HBD card that fulfill my birthday stay. Service staff are top notch. Friendly and helpful. They always look around to assistant to ensure my stay memorable. Newest Ki Izakaya Japanese Restaurant at 9th floor, highly recommended. Quality ingredients. Staff at there are excellent service. Especially K. Oh. There are bakery shop near flourish restaurant as well. Breakfast is definitely won't be disappointed. Croissant the best. All food set as buffet plus delicious a la carte. The green space in front of the hotel let’s you out of the busy city. Swimming pool with serenity view instagrammer don’t miss it to strike a pose. Last point, Lobby so stunning. I guarantee you have to pick a phone to take a picture for sure. Afternoon tea at lobby lounge, must try. I will be back again and again to stay at Sindhorn Kempinski.

Great location as just next to the metro station . The room clean but I felt a little too dark for me especially the toilet. Should have a better lighting . When I booked the room for a night I got a free ticket for BTS day trip . I decided to extend my stay so booked another day with separate booking and the just gave me one ticket instead of 2 said as per stay . I felt cheated on this part .. other all good . Will I come back to the hotel ? I guess I will search for a better deal with this price . Just my opinion .

The Bangkok bus app called Viabus will help you a lot, and the indrive app for taxis is cheaper and more accessible than grab. *A big problem that I observed during my two stay at this hotel is the lack of welcoming the guest at the beginning of the arrival, and because the reception is on the eighth floor, you have to carry your things there yourself and no one greets you. *As a friendly recommendation to other Bangkok hotels, think twice *Important note: child stay with parents is free for under 12 years old at maximum 2 children in the same room without any extra bed. Breakfast is also free.

We stayed at this hotel because I thought it was easy to take public transport. The hotel is okay. If you are looking for really big rooms then this is your place. But I feel it wasn’t as comfortable. I want the TV in the bedroom and we stayed on the first floor so I felt there was little privacy. The breakfast was okay. The pool is not worthy.

I have previously stayed at the Maitria property in Soi 18 and thought I would give this one in Soi 15 a go. And rightly so. Situated more towards the back of Soi 15 on the left side when coming from Sukhumvit road the Maitria Mode hotel is a great escape from the hustle and noise of Sukhumvit. Check-In Check-in was a very friendly and efficient affair. The young lady checking me in was very polite and friendly and provided the kind of welcome you wish for. She was so nice as to upgrade me to a bigger room on the fourth floor. The Room The Room was very spacious and featured a table with two big arm chairs, a good size round table, a very big bed (king size), a spacious wardrobe with two morning robes and a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, and a bathroom big enough for 3-4 people at once (see pictures). The shower was the hit in this bathroom. It was simply enormous and the water was both nice and hot and the water pressure very good. The bed had four big pillows and was nice and hard, just how I like it. Restaurant I only had breakfast once and it was quite good. The eggs were made to order and there was a decent buffet to choose from. Service was friendly and fast and the taste of the breakfast items provided was overall good. For the breakfast lovers amongst you there could have been a bit more choice but since I am not a breakfast kinda guy there was more than enough on offer. Pool bar on the 8th floor The staff at the pool bar was very friendly. However, they didn’t speak too much English. But I speak a little Thai, so it was fine for me. You will find some beautiful sun beds and pads to relax on by the pool with a very nice view over parts of Bangkok's skyline. If you wanted to order something you would have to call down to reception but that worked very well. As May is not the main season for tourism they do not have staff at the bar all the time, but this is more an assumption than knowledge from my side. Service The service attitude was very good. The staff are helpful and speak good enough English. The gentleman driving the hotels Tuk Tuk did even drive me a few times outside of the fixed schedule which was really nice of him! The maids did a very good job and supplied plenty of water bottles. The only thing I had a hard time finding was the hand soap, but that might have been me. The only thing I would improve is the amount of shower gel distributed. When I stayed at this property outside temperature were sometimes north of 35 C so frequent showers were a must for me. What could have been better? There is not much to point the finger at in the Maitria. One thing, however, which I found very uncomfortable was the fact that there seemed to be no air conditioning in the elevator which transformed it into a proper hot box and made me sweat just staying inside it for 30 seconds. I liked the condo, it’s small, but clean and cozy, the only thing missing is a stove. I didn't like the check-in process. We arrived within the specified time period, but no one answered our phone, WhatsApp messages were ignored, and the WhatsApp call was immediately dropped for some reason and not answered in messages. We tried to contact for an hour, sat tired in the lobby. As a result, I had to write to trip.com support. Only after the help of operator Christina, thanks to her for her prompt assistance. The support worked 150% in my case. The condo owner contacted us using the phone number we used to try to contact him. Cutlery for 1 more person, for example 1 spoon. I had to take turns eating with my wife. Dear owner of this condo, if you need to be contacted and agreed in advance about the time of entry, then indicate this in the adverti*****t. Also indicate all contacts for communication, and not just one phone number that you do not answer for a long time. It would be great if you contact the tenant yourself after confirming the reservation and providing instructions for entry. Or be in touch at your specified time for entry. Respect other people's time!
