Great location and near the church. Be prepared to hear the bell rings every quarter hour through the day and night. It maybe annoying for some whom need total silent to sleep at night. However , the room with terrace is awesome and can have drinking session for some private moments.

This place was beautiful but currently has a horrible smell in the lobby. The hotel overall was great, but do have to mention that my wife and I were told by a phone call that we were being to noisy (from our room next door) when we were only have a conversation at a low normal level. It was very weird as we normally are very quiet people and rarely talk loud or on phones in hotels like this. Just simply pointing out that the walls are thin.

I LOVE Catalonia Catedral Hotel Everything about this hotel is wonderful. I upgraded while checking in,,, it was well worth it. The staff are amazing and the hotel is across from one of the best restaurants,, Cercle. The beautiful Cathedral is right there too.. This hotel s a treasure.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Right in the Ciutat Vella (old city). Walkable to great restaurants, shopping and many sites. The staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, especially Alex at the front seat who worked tirelessly to recommend restaurants to expand our experience as well as providing small comforts during our stay. Tino at the bar was also helpful to us. We would definitely come back again.

The staff were incredibly friendly & informative, whilst the hotel was perfectly located. If I return to Barcelona, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Catalonia Cathedral again.

Wonderful boutique hotel situated in the center of the gothic district. Hard to reach by taxi due to location in shopping street.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would most definitely stay there again. The staff were all very welcoming and are all very approachable if needed anything at all. The facilities were spotless and I loved the night time sweet that would appear by your bed in the evening. They offer a great breakfast and the hotel is in a prime position making everything accessible. (two nights are not enough if want to explore everything but it was an enough to get a good taster of Barcelona).

I had a business trip to Barcelona and this hotel gave me a very comfortable stays for one week. The staffs are warm and kind, the room is very clean and cozy. Also it is very close to Catedral de Barcelona. Takes 5 minutes by foot to Catalonia Plaza.

The hotel is located in a great area. Easy access to a huge amount of restaurants and shopping. Fast access to public transportation/taxis.
Front desk staff was great. Everyone was very friendly and eager to help.
The breakfast is NOT what we American's are expecting. A huge selection of items/drinks and all very fresh.
