Hostel Friends Barcelona

In my opinion the hostel is terrible. The rooms are furnished by Ikea with the cheapest furniture. The beds are uncomfortable and small. The staff is super rude, while we were there three people changed and none of them said hello. I would ignore all of that, but the fact that they tried to lie to us I wouldn't. My booking was for two adults and one child. I paid the amount that was required to be paid. The surprise was when we checked in and noticed that the single bed was not made. I thought they had forgotten and asked the person at the reception, who told me that another 35 euros had to be paid. After long arguments, I decided that I will not pay again for something that I have paid for and I had to sleep on a bed without a pillow and sheets. These are retail scammers. I will try my best to let more people know about them. Another thing I found out a while ago while trying different options to book a room and price to check what I claim is that they always leave a small payment amount on the spot, I guess it's to have the credit card number and if you accidentally damage one of the "expensive " furniture to be able to take the amount from the card.

Amazing Hotel ❤️ Very clean bathrooms and rooms with comfortable beds. All facilities are provided. There is a strong fan in the room. Close to the centre, bus stops and metro. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the small room the one with no view, facing the back part of the building. Someone commented that it's like sleeping in the bathroom. NOWAY. We couldn't hear anything and we felt very safe with the bars on the window so we left out window open every night. Definitely book there again the next time I am in Barcelona. Thank you

The worst place I've ever been. Rooms totally different than you'll see in the photos. You can see real photos below. You'll sleep literally in the shower used by other people 24/7 not possible to rest at all. There's no real window in the room so it's very hot and smell's badly from the rest room. Personal told me that it's not their problem.
