Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

We had a very warm welcome from Remsi, Fred and his amazing team. Followed by a wonderful sundowner in the common area which has a beautiful overview of the Serengeti landscape. All the meals and service was amazing and we were very happy with Baraka and Juma who served us throughout our stay! The rooms were wonderfully set up and the bed was very comfortable. Our whole family is very happy with our stay and we highly recommend staying here! Asante sana kutoka Kassam/Gall Family na tutaonana!

This place is unlike any other I have been to before. The staff is incredible and goes above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. The tents are amazing, beds are comfortable and the shower has good pressure and hot water. The proximity to wildlife is incredible and you are immersed in the Serengeti, surrounded by animals at all times. The view from the lounge is unlike any I have seen before and shows you a sunrise that you’ll never forget. The food is incredible, every dish from every meal is top notch(and I’m not exactly a foodie). The guides are amazing and will have you spotting every animal in the area in no time. I can’t say enough good things about this place, or about all the staff who work here; each and every one is friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place to anybody and everybody looking to get a high quality Serengeti experience

Wonderful close-up experience of the Serengeti. Tents had everything you need, including hot water bottles left for you on turndown ☺️. Food was excellent, and all the staff were really friendly, attentive and personable. Also had a massage outside the tent which was definitely needed after a particularly boneshaker of a drive! Plenty of wildlife around the camp itself, even had a hyena walk behind our table at dinner. Very safe at the same time though; escorts walked you to and from your tents at night and patrolled the camp throughout the night. The game drives were amazing, it’s surreal how much wildlife is casually strolling around completely unfazed by lots of gawking humans. Would definitely recommend!

AMAZING! From the moment we got out of the airport it’s been pure class. Our guides Angela and Ruben went above and beyond what we expected from safari guides. They based the drives on our interests and answered every question we asked. They seemed to know absolutely everything related to the park. Upon arriving at camp, Remsi, Juma and the pioneer team treated us like royalty. Juma, our butler anticipated our needs and made sure we were happy at all times. Joesph the chef was exceptional and made delicious food for my husband who is a meat eater and myself who is a vegan.

Very satisfying and very warm-hearted experience. Of you plan to Safari in central serengeti and recommend staying here. The staff here are very friendly and the camp have very beautiful scenery. Room facilities are also very nice, hot water can let you relax.

I cannot say enough about Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp Starting with the service which is top notch five star, the staff which are warm and welcoming and do everything to make your stay perfect. The set up here is remarkable. It’s glamping at its finest. The decor in the tents are circa 1930’s Africa explorer. They are gorgeous with big bathrooms and stay very warm despite being actual tented structures. The dinner was superb with chef Joseph being the best. Our main contact that helped us with everything was Hassan. He went about and beyond anything you could imagine. We woke up at sunrise to catching the views from the viewing deck, and he had set up our breakfast table atop the viewing area to have a gorgeous solo breakfast. That means they had to drag a table and chairs up here through many steps to make this possible. The manager Remsi is so professional and the best and our room attendant Baraka made sure everything was warm and cozy and clean. This place is a little slice of heaven. I’m sorry we are here only one day as we go through the Serengeti. The true star on this team was Hassan who made our holiday the best with the private breakfast. Come here please. Don’t miss it.
