Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp

Incredible stay - exceeded all expectations! The staff was amazing, especially our guest ambassador Yona, who made sure we were very comfortable, and always with a smile The view is breathtaking, the tents are luxurious, all the extra touches were there (including hot water bottles in the bed in the evenings) - if you want to feel like you’re in a movie - this is the place to stay.

The pioneer camp puts you in the shoes of a British queen visiting her colonies! The tent are a bit old but so stylish, 1940’s or 1950’s, and in perfect condition to be used. Hot water 24/24. The tents area is surrounded with antilopes and baboons. But the highlight is the view from the lunch area and from the bar!! The view allows to understand what Serengeti means : endless plain! Furthermore the staff, Sagi in particular, is doing is best to satisfy any of your needs and wishes! For instance, he organized our last breakfast 6am in the bar (upstairs) allowing us to assist to a fairy scene, a dream with the rising sun! The food is excellent and wines (included) are very good!

I cannot say enough about Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp Starting with the service which is top notch five star, the staff which are warm and welcoming and do everything to make your stay perfect. The set up here is remarkable. It’s glamping at its finest. The decor in the tents are circa 1930’s Africa explorer. They are gorgeous with big bathrooms and stay very warm despite being actual tented structures. The dinner was superb with chef Joseph being the best. Our main contact that helped us with everything was Hassan. He went about and beyond anything you could imagine. We woke up at sunrise to catching the views from the viewing deck, and he had set up our breakfast table atop the viewing area to have a gorgeous solo breakfast. That means they had to drag a table and chairs up here through many steps to make this possible. The manager Remsi is so professional and the best and our room attendant Baraka made sure everything was warm and cozy and clean. This place is a little slice of heaven. I’m sorry we are here only one day as we go through the Serengeti. The true star on this team was Hassan who made our holiday the best with the private breakfast. Come here please. Don’t miss it.

Wonderful experience .. It’s been pleasure to get excellent hospitality in the forest People are very warm and sweet Vegetarian food is awesome Room facilities are quite sufficient and satisfying..location of lobby is very interesting as view of sun rise is magnificent

We had a wonderful 3 days at Pioneer Camp. The location and views from the sitting area are stunning , perfect for game drives. The staff are without exception warm and welcoming, the service and the quality of the food are first class. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place , lovely views , great location and outstanding service . We enjoyed our 2nights stay . The tents are luxurious . But the rooms can do with charging points for cameras / laptops rather than the community charging facility the lodge currently . They do have power banks for mobiles in every room . Also the roads leading to the lodge could have been better .

a special experience. a special welcome by super friendly people. a beautiful tent that is nice and spacious with a lovely bed. the food is super tasty you can choose every day from a starter, main course and dessert. you hear in your various sounds in your tent.

The people here truly make the difference. Very nice, great service and the food is briljant. At night you hear all kinds of animals around. Witch at first is a little scary, but eventually you will get used to it. If you decide to come here I recommend to get out of bed early to see the sunrise. It will be worth your while.

The tents were delightful, the service was outstanding . Disney has nothing in this crew. I am gluten free and always had delightful food and breads . The view was outstanding. The reception/ bar was a highlight with a view of the Serengeti for miles. The hyrex entertained us while we were having our gin and tonics in the evening.
