Higher Farm

We stayed in "The Stables" room with-in the main B&B it was perfect, great facilities in the room, breakfast was spot on so tasty and plenty of choice. We were then lucky enough to stay in one of the Shepherds huts on our second night stay, it blew us away the 50s style decor is excellent everything was perfect so much so we have already booked our next 2 night stay in one of the other huts. This is a super bed & breakfast in a lovely location with excellent hosts and delicious breakfasts. We will certainly be staying again if we come back to the area for a break. A comfortable bed, an ensuite wet room with wide doors, which might make it suitable for a wheelchair user. Comfortable chairs if you want to watch TV in the evening. Delicious breakfast which was cooked to order. Plenty of storage for clothes.

Attractive b&b with grounds overlooking the Welsh hills. Comfortable ensuit with wet room. Spacious and clean. Superb hosts serving a good hearty breakfast to send you off with. Reasonably priced for the standard they offer.

We have been there first time and really mesmerise by the view from garden .. the room was nice and clean .. the hosts were very warm and welcoming .. they made us really comfortable … breakfast was lovely .. all in all highly recommended…very peaceful and beautiful place to live 🥰

Heather is an amazing host. Friendly but professional, cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable and homely as she can. The rooms are immaculately clean and are very well appointed and decorated. there is flat path (perfect for wheelchair use) directly from the large car park to the reception door and into the reception area. the two rooms we stayed in had wide doors and one of the bedrooms has a wet room style shower perfect for disabled guests. there is ample storage for clothes with large wardrobe and chests of drawers. The beds are beautifully comfortable. i would not hesitate recommending Higher Farm B&B to anyone for a stay. The exterior of the property is beautifully kept with wild flowers , farm animals close by. and beautiful views of the hills surrounding. Breakfast is absolutely delicious local produce and cooked perfectly by the host.

The room was well set up with a first class en suite. We had an extensive welcome pack with plenty of coffee and tea etc. The instructions on arrival were very good and we appreciated the personal touch. The breakfast was first class… lovely dining facilities and beautiful views.

Where do I start… I stayed with the lovely Heather & Neil for over two months last year with work. Stayed in most rooms and shepherds huts they have and they are all just amazing. So clean, fresh with a homely feeling. Showers are amazing, great water pressure. The food… you will definitely not go hungry with Heather at the helm, all local produce and homemade food to suit everybody. I cannot thank Heather & Neil for looking after me so well in the time I stayed there. They have become like family now and I have since taken the family back for a visit with the next visit. Cant recommend enough!

We only had one night at Higher Farm - we were attending a wedding nearby. From the moment of booking to the moment we left, this was a really happy experience. Heather was THE most welcoming of hosts. We had a challenge in logistics for getting ready for the wedding. No problem. Heather said she'd expect us from 10.30am on the day and have somewhere ready for us to use, even if our room wasn't ready. And so it was. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and everything felt really relaxed, though very organised. The location of Higher Farm is beautiful. Breakfast again was relaxed with good choice of cereals, 'full English' - any combination and beyond, and we met Neil (First Mate!) who was just as welcoming as Heather. What lovely people and a super b&b. I can't recommend a stay there highly enough.

A real relaxed holiday feeling about the place. Lovely location - three minutes walk from a pub with excellent food for the evening meal. Very well looked after. Delicious breakfast set us up for the day. Heather was a thoughtful host who made us very welcome. Would not hesitate to recommend.
