I believe the good ratings and reviews listed for this property is by family and friends, not to mention the actual rooms are not accurately displayed. I have never been to a hotel or lodge as bad as this one. Around the building looks like a 1970 motel. The inside of the room was absolutely the worst! It reeks of cigarette smoke, the pillows had stains on them. The toilet was dirty, as if no one came to clean it in some time. The rug was completely dirty and the walls were filthy. I left after 5 mins of being there because of all the reasons above and more, not to mention due to health reasons, I cannot be in a room that reeks of cigarettes and the front desk person told me that I cannot be refunded my money. I would be cautious of paying to stay at this property until you actually see it, because they know what it looks like and you WONT be refunded.

Rude owner and staff. I cleaned my own room because it was 6 people In a two bedroom motel. The smoke alarm would beep all night long and we ask the front test to fix and never did. The drawers were falling apart and the bathroom tub was nasty with mold. The owner was very rude to me and got up in my face and then told us we could leave tonight or tomorrow morning with full refund when we cleaned the room up nicely and the front desk person said you stay here you come with meaning my husband and I said why is that? He didn’t say a word. Then he says it looks nice and walk back and refunded 60percent not the full amount. In the beginning we ask from monthly rate the front desk gave us a rate for the week ok. But when it came about race car week he charge another $200-$300 more on top of the week rate he said only this one time that’s it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The owner thinks he can get up in someone face and speak to them nasty and he was only charging us for the trash we had no one else. Worse place to be ever.

I needed a place to call home for 3 nights. This motel was perfect. The owner made me feel like an old friend that he was happy to see. The room was clean and comfortable. The fridge and microwave worked perfectly. The shower was great and the bed warm and comfy.

If you're looking for an all-inclusive destination experiece - read on, this isn't that. If you're looking for a chain hotel priced brand - read on, this isn't that. I've been staying at the Night Lodge for more than three decades, it's the same now as it was then: clean, no frills, centrally located, INEXPENSIVE. The new owners are keeping this tradition going and Prashant the new manager is super friendly. Come to the Poconos to do what you need to do, knowing you have a home-away-from home that you can afford right in the middle of where you need to be. Park right in front of your door, put your leftovers in your mini-fridge and heat them up with your microwave.
