Good services and nice room. Food is also nice and the environment was just beautiful. Can see liitle bit of lake from the windows of our room. Highly recommended.

民宿自身環境設施很不錯，是一個很有氛圍感的住宿。房間裏的餅乾很好吃，民宿提供的餐食也不錯，就是性價比不高（有的菜味道偏鹹）。地理位置比較偏，感覺來這裏住的一般都是自己開車的，我們玩keswick和德文特湖的住這裡有點遠，而且公交停了衹能打電話約taxi。不過總體住宿體驗還是很好的！

Excellent hotel especially if your bringing dogs...no restrictions on where dogs can go which is great for sitting in the large Drawing Room by the fire...

I have stayed here twice before and always been really impressed. This time however the bedding was dirty with a large circular stain in the middle and some type of dirt near the bottom. The tap was also not working properly in the sink. This trip did not live up to the usual standards which was really disappointing. On the plus side the food was great (albeit pricey) and staff really friendly.

Booked last minute for a night away. Very reasonable for bed and breakfast. All staff very attentive, the food is absolutely beautiful. The room was spotlessly clean. Very cosy manor house with log fire and lots of little areas to sit. Will definitely return

This is a real gem. Friendly staff, nice room, great food (really great!). Not too far from Keswick but in a quiet location.

A lovely quiet spot. Staff very helpful and nice . Room and bathroom clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. Evening meal available in bar area as well as dining room. Excellent food esp the soup !
Only minor grumble re breakfast that for those like me who don’t have cooked breakfast ,a good choice of fruit/yoghurt, cereals etc at buffet but no croissants or brioche etc. Frozen ones cooked on the spot would be easy to do!
