Ocean Blue is a medium size resort. Not small. Not huge like Iberostar. However it has lots of fine dining (5) onsite just like the huge ones. Their beach is perfect with lots of free cabana like shaded seating. Only surprise was our scuba shop was onsite but actual dive boat was 2 resorts down the beach at Iberostar. A 10 minute walk, no problem. This side of island a bit choppy for diving. Smoother on South side. Resort super clean, safe and friendly staff. More young families and older couples. No Spring Break teens! Highly recommend this resort for families.

Ótima localização em uma das melhores praias de Punta Cana, paisagismo lindo, boas e grandes piscinas, praça onde estão localizados os restaurantes temáticos é simplesmente linda, cada restaurante tem uma caracterização própria e o melhor, não precisa fazer reserva antecipada!
Ponto a melhorar : no final de semana, havia um excesso de hóspedes, faltou comida em todas as refeições e o salão estava bem tumultuada. A comida também é bastante simples.

Overall, I am between 4 and 5. The stay was great. The swimming pools were nicely kept, but no life vests or floaties even for kids. Vacationers need to bring them; or some items may be purchased at the gift shop located within the resort. Room floor was not clean. Not ideal for small kids walking without shoes. There's a small kids pool but there are no water slides or fun activities. There's a balling alley and some pool (billiards) tables, which was fun. The resort's private beach is good. The main cafeteria has several food options. The tables in the cafeteria needs some frequent cleaning I guess. Food is okayish. Still I must say I got tired of eating from the same place after 4 days. I should have reserved and explored the restaurant options, too. The beverages were good too. The staff are generally helpful. Some of them speak good English. But the hotel's focus is mostly on serving the privilege group. The common outdoor areas are nicely kept and beautiful. The flamingo at the resort is certainly an attraction. The entertainment programs in the evening were fun enough.

Overall, had a great time! The staff were always nice and friendly. The bars and pool were a great time! I liked the variety of food for dinner options. The only thing that could have been better was the room could have been slightly nicer, we had a little leak on our bathroom floor and their solution was a dehumidifier in the room which didn’t help to much, but otherwise, had a great time!

The facility and the staff were fantastic. The food was hit or miss, the Mexican restaurant was terrible. Drinks were hand crafted and bartenders were attentive. The beach was small and crowded. Too many peddlers bothering guest to purchase items.
