Riu Palace Macao - Adults Only - All Inclusive

I had a really great experience at Hotel Riu Palace Macao. The entire resort was very clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety, so there was always something to look forward to at each meal. What stood out the most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the trip. The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for an adults-only getaway. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Enjoyed all the amenities that the hotel offered. Only bad thing I have to say is that my AC was leaking water and would create a huge puddle of water on the floor so was unable to use it during my stay.

I really enjoyed this resort. I went with a friend for a girls trip. We got the swimup suite in the elite club and in my opinion it was definitely worth it. The other pools arent huge and filled up pretty quickly. This trip was purely for relaxtion and we achieved that. The beach was beautiful the water was so blue. We did indulge in a massage at the spa and it was the best massage ive ever had 10 out of 10 get a massage! You also get to use the spa pools, they have hot tubs and a cold plunge as well as an indoor pool and a few unique spa shower stalls. Was everything 100% perfect at the resort, no, but when is anything perfect to everyone. I will definitely return to this resort.

The Property: For this resort being on the smaller side, it makes up for location and closeness to the beach. It's exceptionally maintained and manicured and lacks nothing that the larger locations may have. Cleanliness: Nothing was out of place, nothing was ignored, no foul odors or scents, beach was manicured and swept often throughout each day. Food: Excellent! During our 5 day stay, our party of 8 was able to experience meals from every on-property restaurant that was prepared as asked. Our on-site buffet had an exceptional amount of variance of dishes well prepared. We ventured off to other RIU's within our area for dinner and without any doubt or hesitation, Macao sits alone on this one! Drinks: Great selection and well prepared. The water was also drinkable as vetted by many with their on-site filtration system. Staff: This is by far the best RIU Staff in the D.R! Attentive, Aware, Friendly, Hospitable, Detail Oriented, and above all else, Trustworthy. They took care of every request, every ask, every suggestion without delay and with haste. Their attitude reflects that of the upper management which holds early morning briefings to ensure the guest experience is upheld to nothing short of notable and extraordinary. In short, I will be returning to this resort in this calendar year with my family. I would love for them to experience what a quality resort perspicacity should feel like. The resort was beautiful and staff extremely helpful/accommodating and always smiling. Will definitely stay here again!

The resort is definitely catered towards the older crowd, and we aren't young. The food was mediocre at best and the resort still allows smoking. All though the smoking is supposed to be in designsted areas, no one enforces it which was a bummer to say the least. The resort its self is very clean as well as the rooms. It is small enough to walk around but unfortunately not much to do when it rains. There aren't many shows or on property activities to keep you entertained if you wanted to be. I highly advise against the Elite Club upgrade. We found it to not be worth it. There is one bar in the lobby exclusively for that and one on the beach but that isn't really a bar. It's a walk up with nowhere to sit. The beach area is all in the shade that is set a part from the rest of the resort. Those are the only 2 places that have the upgraded liquor package. We had a nice stay but not what we expected.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The food and drinks were surprisingly good, the staff was amazing, and the amenities were very nice. The property itself isn't necessarily quiet, but far quieter than some of the other RIU properties, but you still get access to all of them. The only even slight complaint I would have is that the air conditioning didn't get cold enough and was not adjustable.

Staff was absolutely amazing! Food and drinks were great. The grounds were kept very clean. Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Shops close by for souvenirs and necessities. We would definitely return!
