Wonderful place! Huge house, clean and comfortable. Caters for everyone. Great showers, small but well equipped kitchen. We had 7 adults & 3 kids and it was perfect for us. Swan in the river (only at high tide) and barbecued all meals in the lovely outdoor covered area. Fully fenced yard.

We (couple) stayed 4 Dec 2024 for one night. It is a great location on the water. We went for a long walk along the water's edge. Saw a few Pademelons, quite tame, must be familiar with people (not dogs!). We heard a few Kookaburras evening and morning. The cabin was good - parked the car alongside. Activities included Seahorse World in the harbour (we enjoyed this venue). Platypus World in the harbour (we missed this as it closed early). Supper was at the Chef's Catch for fresh fish and chips. We had an enjoyable day and night. Then on to Devonport and ferry back to Vic and home. Thank you. Yes, This Park and Beauty Point is well recommended.

We LOVED this destination, and it is very conveniently located for access to the Echidna, Platypus and Sea Horse research centres. We had to move from our original site, Honeyeater Cabin to the Park's Shearwater Cabin, due to prior booking arrangement. Not a problem, as we travel light, and we were the winners on this occasion, as Shearwater had water views and easy access to the waterfront.

The park site is almost great. But ... There is a mine across the river that runs non-stop all day and all night – the noise is persistent and intrusive. We asked a park worker about this, and received the answer, "We all have to live with it." Very disappointing.

Great base to explore the attractions in Beauty Point and nearby Beaconsfield. We arrived out of office hours and the directions we were given to the cabin were simple and easy to follow. The cabin was modern with a water view from its' balcony The kitchenette was extremely well equipped for a few days stay though the bedroom and bathroom were a little on the compact side. The park's public areas looked well maintained and it was an easy drive back into town for takeaway if required.

This place was absolutely brilliant. We stayed at the BIG4 at Launceston the night before and were looking for somewhere more peaceful - and this fitted the bill completely. Clean, quiet and stunning. There was a fire burning over the bay, which seemed strange for such a beautiful point.

I pre arranged a late after hours arrival. When I rang the staff member was very nice and welcoming I was provided clear instructions about self check-in. As I called a month earlier I double checked my self check-in arrangements via email, Susan was prompt to respond. Thank you. As I arrived the cabin was clearly marked on the map which was left with my key to my cabin and as I entered I noticed how clean it was. And the heater was turned on for me to ensure I don't walk into a cold room. Definitely recommend.

The caravan park was everything you would expect from a caravan park, clean, big sites, friendly management and a great location. Easy to get to Seahorse World and other sites at Beauty Point. Highly recommend.

We loved this place, our cabin had a great water view from the covered veranda, gardens were well maintained as was the community BBQ area. Bit squeezing along side the bed but the bed itself was great. This is one of those caravan parks that the office even closes for lunch, so make sure you time your arrival and questions accordingly!
