Hôtel dans un cadre magnifique avec de jolis points de vue sur la mer.Terrain de tennis , piscine, ping-pong, badminton à disposition .Petite plage accessible en bas de l’hôtel.Chemins de randonnées,golf et petit village de Begur également à proximité.Très bon petit déjeuner .Nous y reviendrons c’est sûr!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Aiguablava at the end of May. We ended our walk of the Cami de Ronda there (more or less), and were glad of a relaxing few days in such a beautiful setting. The hotel was spotless, the facilities excellent, and the food (half board) was of high quality. The breakfast was a highlight! We booked a taxi to Begur - a lovely little town nearby - but were rather disappointed with the standard fare - about 20 euros for a few km (albeit up hill all the way). We won't forget the beautiful view from our balcony - looking over towards Aiguablava at sunset and at dawn. We'd love to be able to visit again some day.

The terrrace of the hotel has a magnificent view. The interior of the room is new. We paid 170+ eur for room 47. The room has a balcony with a sea view to the right. But basically you look against a wall. When you sit on the balcony airco noise from outside units (not your unit) is very irritating. At night when you are in bed there is a vibration with a low bass tone, presumably from airco units, which was terrible. We decided 23.30 to move change rooms. A family room without balcony was offered in a separate building 100 m away. Also here we needed to take stairs to the second floor. Neither any comments nor apologies were given on our complaints about the noise. A room in the main building with balcony would have cot us another 45 euro. The breakfast is fine and as said the e views are very nice, but the total experience was by far not worth the 170+ euros paid. The food quality in the restaurant is doesn’t meet de exceptional high food prices. Very simple main dishes without a decent quality cost easily 30-35 euros. We tried the restaurant two evenings and the experience was similar. Rather plain tasting dishes for a very high price. The drinks were also pricey for what it was. The swimming pool was ok, but cold. Sufficient loungers available. Many parking spots are lined with little iron poles which easily damage your car when parking. The room didn’t have a chair for behind the writing desk, which was inconvenient. Staff is friendly, doesn’t comment on your complaints, and doesn’t offer apologies. We will not come again as the place is overrated and overpriced. We stayed at other places in the vicinity with far better food and service. In a much nicer room with gorgeous views as well and a lower price

I have been staying at this hotel on and off since I was 8 years old (now retired). It's in the most stunning location, rooms are clean, fresh and light, most with sea views. Staff are efficient, attentive and they remember your personal preferences. There are nice places to visit nearby - quaint Begur the nearest town; Pals and Peratallada, pretty medieval villages; Dali properties/museum etc. I had a minor accident this year and was sooo well looked after. I can't wait to go back!

Rooms had faulty air conditioning. I was offered a room of less view and smaller. I was not happy with this Restaurant is overpriced for quality of food. Only the view was good. The bell hop were very nice. The waiters were dismissive at times .

We recently stayed at the Hotel Aiquablava. It's in a beautiful spot that overlooks the water. The breakfasts were terrific. Delicious food, large assortment and we ate on an outdoor terrace. The room was lovely, clean, terrace and great view. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only turn off to us were the men who sat near an open door to the hotel smoking cigars. It ruined the beautiful, restful atmosphere and was thoughtless to do so in front of an open door sucking it into the hotel common space.

The Hotel was fabulous! The staff was pleasant, the room gorgeous and overall atmosphere was just what we needed to relax and enjoy the Costa Brava. We took advantage of the breakfast offering, which was delicious. I can't say enough about my stay there - I just wish it had been warmer so I could take advantage of the pool!

A lovely, wonderful, scenic and gorgeous spot on the Mediterranean Sea, in Begur, Spain. My adult son and I had a brief (wish it had been longer) stay at the Hotel Aiguablava. Recommended by a travel advisor, we needed a stopover after leaving Montpellier and prior to a stay in Barcelona. Not only was the hotel located in a breathtaking spot, it was a beautiful hotel. The staff was especially helpful, very hospitable and accommodating, fulfilling all of our needs for our short stay. Guests can swim, play tennis or hike on a long beach path. Reading in the hotel's beautifully decorated lounge, dining on the patio or meeting in the bar, it' a delightful hotel. And the rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable beds with soft linens. I enjoyed a large bathroom with a full shower. The hotel offers a large restaurant with surrounding windows with stunning sea views. Upon our arrival, we enjoyed a delicious lunch then dinner after a restful afternoon. Breakfast was busy but the experienced and efficient staff handled the rush. The front desk was especially helpful in storing our luggage so we could do a hike to the Mediterranean restaurant, Toc al Mar. Hoping I can return with my husband to Aiguablava soon.
