Legendale Hotel Beijing

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

Such a lovely experience. The hotel is very grand and quite beautiful. The breakfast at LCafe was good and at a good price too. The staff were friendly and the room was very spacious.

Excellent English speaking staff adds a lot of value to a 5 star hotel in China. The Concierge Manager Jason Zhang and his team Mr Young Yang, The Guest Managers, Mr Terry Mr Koh, front liners, Rebecca, Evelyn and of course the 2 bell boys too. Mr Jason who is English speaking has gone the extra mile to help give us invaluable advice for our private local tours. Thus, Legendale Hotel Beijing is one of the best 5 star hotel that we have stayed in China.

I booked this hotel for my parents to stay in. They were amazed by the quality of the facilities, and the price is really cheap for this kind of hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel with its unique and interesting architecture and decor, and the location could not be better for touring Beijing. The breakfast was amazing.

Stayed at the business suit with a friend for New years. Absolutely stunning classy hotel, we had 3 meals included, all of them were above all expectations. Best experience!

The location of hotel is very convenient, walking distance to MRT station and Wangfujing also Forbidden city. The room of hotel is big and all of Staff are friendly and helpful. Really recommended !!

We tend to stay at private B&Bs rather than hotels when travelling but we couldn’t have been more impressed with this hotel and its staff, who were always helpful with things like bookings etc. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of food styles and fruit. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel. One warning to other foreign travellers - credit cards are only accepted at hotels, some shops in major malls, and some major tourist sites. Otherwise it’s cash for things like taxis, local shops. The locals use a ubiquitous payment app linked to mobile phones.

The building is beautiful, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. By and large we slept very well. However, there are annoying, "Ryanair-like" little scams that do not make you feel in a five-stars hotel. We were charged an extra 30 RMB for no reason for the room, an extra 20 RMB for peanuts that we did not order at the bar, 60 RMB for a bottle of water in the room, etc. We were also disturbed unnecessarily at 10 pm in our room (first by a phone call, then by an employee who forced us to answer the phone call), apparently because one employee had refunded us by mistake. I later suggested the manager make a gesture in return, and to this day I'm still waiting.
