Beijing Wtown Resort

Very nice hotel, in a good location, but for the price, it's a shame not to be able to use the table tennis free of charge. It is also regrettable that the staff do not speak English. This does not encourage tourism.

There are two top tier hotels in Wtown. One is located slightly outside the town and Beijing Wtown Resort is located inside the town. The outer one is more convenient to drop off luggage as can park directly in front whereas BWTR requires checkin first at the general area at the gate. Would suggest for big groups or wheelchair accessible guests to consider the former. At the general check in area, they can transport your luggage into the town to your hotel via a porter service. However once you get inside the town, BWTR is fantastic in terms of location as it is central to everything. There is a public onsen right next door with an option to book a private room onsen (can share as a couple or family) with day or illuminated night views looking at the Jinshanling Great Wall! The BWTR itself is a nice hotel. Lots of rooms, tidy and great breakfast buffet. The two bedroom suite is great for families.

Hotel is very big. The room was clean but with smoke odor in the toilet. Aircon was off in the the room and the window was not big enough for fresh air. People at the reception was polite but not very helpful. Breakfast was very good with various choices. Swimming pool is nice and big but too cold.

Amazing service by Celin. Catering to over every need. Stayed in a loft and was provided with amazing service and hospitality. Only downside was the heat. Room was warm but they were really nice to provide us with a fan to cool the room down.

Celin from the front desk was incredible at helping us navigate through our reservation at the Gubei WTown Resort. We honestly had such a great vacation and throughly enjoyed the hot springs and activity ones around town. Not to mention the Simitai Great Wall was stunning to see in person. We will definitely be back.

This place was incredible, the location, the amenities, the service, the breakfast. It all exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our time so much we ended up staying an extra night. The hot spring experience was very nice and relaxing and such an incredible experience with the Great Wall setting the background. We also need to give our thanks to Celin. She was very helpful and attentive. She did most of our reservations for us since we found it challenging to do them ourselves through the Apps due to language barriers. The trip would not have been as smooth or efficient without her assistance. So, thank you for going above and beyond!

WTown was above what we expected. Hotel room faced the great wall and the view at night was heavenly when the Simatai Great Wall was lit up. The manager Celine went beyond her call of duty and provided my family with impeccable service and even reserved a table for my family during the christmas dinner event. Her excellent service attitude made our stay felt like home.

Perfect location right inside the scenic area. Can walk to Cable car station, Riyue Island and hot spring easily without using the shuttle. Best to stay inside the scenic area for easy accessibility to sights, night drone shows and musical fountain shows. Hotel breakfast has many variety.

The play area for the children and the pool were well worth it for our family, and the buffet was awesome too. We loved the location and the amenities, we just wished there were clearer instructions for how to park and take the shuttle to get inside Wtown and to the hotel. It would have made our arrival less stressful. Thanks!
