Yitel (Beijing Wangfujing Subway Station Pedestrian Street)

Overall very pleasant stay! Bed was comfortable, room was pretty big, housekeeping did their job well. I only found some small flies in the bathroom each time I went to shower, maybe the drain has an issue underground. They should look into it. Also the smell when I first entered the elevator and my floor were weird, but it faded away quickly. Location is perfect, close to the metro station and the big street with shops. Nice foodcourts close by. Service only lacked in use of English and just general information which they did not provide me. I randomly found the laundry room and a restaurant on the fifth floor which I did not know of. But when I asked a question, they were willing to answer through a translation device. All facilities necessary in the room except a fridge! AC worked, so did hairdryer, and the used toothbrushes etc were replaced each time. Trip says no window room, even though there was a window. Just not a view lol it was pretty weird? I can’t even explain what ‘the view’ was. Could not open the window but it’s still not a dealbreaker and at least I could get some light in.

I had wonderful time in Yitel Hotel as it was bery conveniant and room were clean and good size. The location were very close to wangfujing street. I will recommend the hotel for friends and families.

The hotel located just right beside WangFuJing MRT, very convenient to travel around Beijing. The hotel also provide laundry service.

Convenience is key. Hotel is situated right next to wangfujing pedestrian street but accessible by vehicles, also within walking distance of two metro lines. Convenient access to attractions around the city.

Hotel location was excellent. Service by both front desk and room staff excellent too. The room itself was also good - nice size, shower and such. Good coffee offered also. Paid for breakfast a few times. Was ok. 56RMB for largely Asian breakfast - would be nice to have something more continental - like better offer for breakfast cereals, toast and such - like the food in the picture that they have as you enter the restaurant!

The location is so good, right in Wangfujing pedestrian area, walkable to The Fobbiden city. The metro station is pretty close. McDonald is right next door, many food courts and depar**ent stores around. The reception is small but staff are nice and can’t speak English but willing to help. The lift is old and a bit smelly. Rooms are small but nice, love the windows view design when stayed in no view room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, right next to a subway entrance.With easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions, I encountered some difficulties due to the lack of English-speaking staff. Communication was a bit challenging at times I noticed a slight problem with the housekeeping service. I stayed 4 nights, the coffee mugs in my room were not cleaned, and the coffee and tea supplies were not restocked. However, I would advise the management to pay closer attention to the cleanliness of the rooms and ensure that all amenities are properly replenished during housekeeping rounds. This would prevent similar oversights in the future and contribute to a consistently high level of guest satisfaction. Overall, I found the hotel to be great value for money and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, comfortable stay.

The strangest hotel design ever. Doors and walls are transparent so there is zero privacy if you need to go to the toilet if your friend visits. I’m shocked and appalled that none of the reviews mentioned transparent doors - else I wouldn’t have booked. In addition to that, the room was stuffy so I had to open the room door to ventilate, not realising the toilet was in full view of anyone who walks past! Room did not come with aircon as they were still not officially in Spring mode and it was stuffy and unbearable even though the hotel brought a fan up to my room.
