The front desk staff are all fairly new. I commended Amber for getting us checked in and upgraded with not much training. I also commended Raven for providing great customer services and being a great listener, However, this review is mostly about how their Operations Manager Alina and how she took my constructive feedback into rude, insulting comments about me and my English. While I was working in the hotel room, a maid was trying to get in. I went to the door and explained to her that we had a late checkout. She doesn't understand a word of what I was saying. Meanwhile I was on a conference call. When I expressed this to Alina, instead of trying to understand this situation better, she insulted me on my English, as if my English was better, the maid would understand. Bear in mind, she did all this knowing that we are one of the highest levels on Bonvoy. There are also families living in the property, and we happened to be put by one family. The noise level was there, but manageable. There is also a smell in the hallway that is very noticeable, but not entirely non-pleasant. The fitness center also has a smell, like burnt rubber. We had stayed in SpringHill Suites up the hill. We will continue to stay there going forward.
