Our one night stay at Azura was fantastic! Olivia was an excellent host, ensuring our every need was met, while Hassane, our butler, provided great service throughout our visit. During our stay we had an opportunity to take part in their signature Island hop excursion, where we hiked up the Bazaruto Sand dune, admired beautiful pansy sea shells on Pansy Island, and observed fascinating marine life while snorkelling near 2 mile Reef. Despite not being able to snorkel myself, my colleagues had an incredible experience spotting parrotfish, soldierfish, turtles, and even devil rays ( this from the boat).

We stayed at Azura for 1 week in April. I have to say that this was the best holiday/experience we ever had (we, as a family, travel a lot!). The place is stunning and if you rent a boat you can have an entire beach/island just for you and your family/friends with the most amazing food and organisation (table, chairs, towels and incredibile food). The rooms are all very nice and private, with your own swimming pool and direct access on the beach. What makes the place truly unique is the people that work there: Amos (the gen manager) is always present, always listening to your needs and always able to make your experience a very special one; the food, the service, the amenities, the friendliness make Azura something very difficult to be beaten!

As wonderful as the brochure photos are, it is even more beautiful in real life! Gorgeous blue waters.. beaches that go on forever and are so very beautiful! Villas are located right on the beach, a few meters away from the sea. Food beyond compare, stunning presentation, so delicious. Service incredibly remarkable, Robson and Jose just the best.. Snorkelling, Dhow sunset cruise, deep sea fishing, Island drive all such memorable experiences.. Delicious cocktails. Amos, Anderson, Nelson and Olivia thank you!!

very disappointed about the handling after we could only use the hotel due to severe weather 1 of 9 nights. we would like a reason why the hotel does not pay us back the whole amount we had to pay in advance, the overpaid amount. how can they simply keep the money for no consideration? Why should we pay for the damage for the failure? for a 5☆ Hotel A bitter disappointment in this price range. I wouldn't pay in advance during the rainy season as there are storms every year. and unfortunately the customers are the only insurance they have??

We had the most incredible stay at this resort. The service was absolutely fantastic and the staff catered to our every wish! Amazing place to take children - they were so well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed the beach and facilities. Our villa was so luxurious and always kept in pristine condition. The food was excellent throughout and we felt super spoilt. This place is simply heaven - I would highly recommend it to anyone!

It is a very nice location with very friendly staff and a nice , familiar atmosphere. The beauty of nature is stunning. Why 3 out of 5? Compared to other hotels in the region the standard is very good. Compared to the price the quality of food a d somewhat speaking staff is below expectations. Furthermore, there is no gym and unless you are diving, the activities available are limited.

Azura is incredible. We have a 4 year old and a 6 year old and worried whether it would be suitable. We should have had no worries. No request is too much, no detail is spared at Azura. The staff are incredible- from our wonderful hosts Julio and Dinis to the management- Anderson and Olivia (plus many more) who constantly checked we had all we wanted, to all the guides- on the drive, the dugong trip and the dhow sunset cruise, who have knowledge in abundance. We were made to feel welcome, at home and our children felt comfortable and safe. Rooms were beautiful and spotless and roomy for 4 of us. Facilities were amazing. And food was incredible- restaurant level and a children’s menu we didn’t feel guilty feeding our two. A perfect start to our holiday and one we wish we could repeat at the end!

The pillows are fluffiest I ever felt, A personalized service 24 hours a day. Compliant social and environmental responsibility. Respect for marine and terrestrial wildlife. Crystal clear waters, interesting activities, including those of walking around the community.

We enjoyed a glorious four nights at Azura for our 25th anniversary. The management and staff treated us like VIPs. A shout out to Olivia and Edgar for being so attentive. The island is beautiful and the sea is warm and inviting. Our villa was exquisite and the meals outstanding and beautifully presented. We’ll be back!
