Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Although Spain has new regulations regarding Aircon systems being on, the law says that tourist rooms are regarded as private and as such air con units are allowed to operate at normal temps. We were on the 20 floor and the heat in the rooms was so unbearable at night but apparently the whole hotel had to stick to Aircon not dropping below 27 Deg Celsius.

Lovely big room very spacious and clean- pool side and restaurant very busy and could be quite chaotic on times. Enjoyed our stay but would probably pick something a bit quieter next time

Great stay. Fairly central to town and beach. Facilities where good although pool was closed and room looked out onto a noisy building site to the rear. Close to local pupluc transport and plenty of parking.

The hotel was great .. i was all inclusive .. in a double room .. the food was really nice .. good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner .. could be a bit more fruit .. entertainment wasnt as good as last time but it is understandable as not so many guests The staff were brilliant , very helpful and friendly , the entertainment team were excellent ! The room was very spacious , clean and warm , kettle supplied with selection of tea and coffee , uk tv and nice balcony . The price was good for 2 people but i was on my own and did not get a discount .. it would have been brilliant if there was a single person discount

Been to Benidorm a few times but this was the first for my mum, decided to book here and I was slightly apprehensive as she was a wheelchair user but once there my fears was gone! To start off the staff are absolutely amazing! I can’t give enough praise to the the reception staff! Whenever we went out on the mobility scooter they would take the wheelchair behind reception then as soon as I was back they would get it for me even if there was a que! It even got to a point where they knew me by face over the 10 days I didn’t even need to ask they saw me and knew straight away as soon as I walked in the hotel! Special mention to Charlie who was so nice and I had a great convo with him and to Phillip who when I was leaving came up to specially and said I hope you have a nice flight home and over the 10 days we’ve all been amazed at how much care you have given your mum and your a credit to her to which I thought was really nice! The rooms were nice and spacious and we had a nice pool view we got 213, the hotel itself was absolutely spotless at all times! The bar had a great selection of drinks served till midnight for all inclusive customers, special mention to christiphor who was super nice and allowed me to get extra drinks because my mum was unable to go up to the bar with being in a wheelchair. The food is absolutely superb there was something for everyone and 90% of it tasted amazing. Of course there was somethings not to be liked but with the variety they had it was to be expected. I think the only downsides around the food was desserts was named as house specials so you didn’t know what you was getting and I found the breakfast to be a bit subpar especially the sausages but apart from that it was fantastic! Special mention to ishane in the restaurant who was really friendly and notified us that if we spoke to reception they would give us access via the club door which made it much more accessible for us! Honestly all in all I can’t fault this place! From the staff going above and beyond every single day we was there to the hotel itself it was one true holiday to remember! I will be 100% booking again! The tui reps annemarie and cat were fantastic too! Honestly I would not book anywhere else in the future! To everyone at the medplaya team I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me and my mum over the past 10 days you made her holiday so enjoyable your staff are amazing and please show them this review and give them credit I’m sure they will remember us! Just arrived back from a lovely holiday with my daughter and my mum. Quick check in, room was ready upon arrived and was clean and fresh daily. Dove Soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. Food was amazing, great choice, different meats each day and was always hot. Drinks were good quality for an all inclusive. Snack bar had a good choice of food and drinks. Entertainment was good and staff worked hard (was inside in May) Plenty of sun beds available however could have done with more of the adjustable ones. We were often surrounded by smokers around the pool which at times wasn’t pleasant - I believe there should be a designated smoking area. Bar staff work very hard but I did notice some of them don’t seem to be as friendly as other places Iv been. We had some photos done by the photographers who are nice enough but abit pushy and are not cheap so beware before getting ****** into t this. My daughter had her hair braided by the African lady who is there on an evening 7-11pm she was great. Overall this is one of the best all inclusives I have been to and will definitely return again.

We have just got back yesterday after visiting the hotel . The rooms were lovely nice size pool and arcade for children . There is a good selection of food to suit everyone and the pool bar have a great snack selection hotdogs , nuggets , chips , toasties . Staff really friendly and helpful and tui staff were amazing . Only downsides we were on floor 16 and there was a really bad smell coming from the bathroom every night seemed worse we had to close the door. Also there’s a really bad sickness going around the hotel at the moment we met lots of people with it . There were sanitising stations but only the ones by restraunt had sanitiser in . Unfortunately despite our best efforts our 6 year old contracted it on friday and was really poorly with it and still is . We are now home but me and my little girl have now got it . We met so many families who had contracted it during our stay . (Apparently it’s going around the whole resort ) but would just like to warn people as our last 2 days were ruined by it . The staff however were lovely in helping us the best they could to find pharmacy’s etc .. so can’t fault the staff . But the problem needs resolving/ at least warnings or advice given to people on visiting to help prevent the spread .

This was our first time to Benidorm. The hotel staff were great and very helpful. The club room were very spacious and clean. There was lots of choice in the food area and we enjoyed the variety. We would definitely stay at the Flamingo Oasis Hotel Benidorm again :-)

Ideal hotel for children. The bar area and open plan foyer have a jungle theme with life-sized animals and 'noises'! Nice pool area. Good sized rooms and although they were a little 'worn' we were happy enough. The hotel has a big turnover of guests every week. Great maid service Plenty of food choices. We stayed classic all inclusive (not the club option). It was our second stay and we felt it was vfm so all good 👍🏻
