On the first day, I liked everything, the friendly and courteous staff, there was a full and delicious buffet breakfast, but after 4 days the breakfasts became on the menu, not varied and slightly disappointed in taste. The water pressure in the room has been very weak for the last 3 days, so taking a shower took about an hour. It is not the season, there are practically no tourists, the coffee shop's work schedule is unclear and it is connected with the restaurant. There is constant dampness and moisture in the room, it is often impossible to open windows to the balcony, otherwise the whole room fumes up and things become instantly wet, it is extremely difficult to dry things, but there is a laundry room, the air conditioner must constantly work in the room so that things dry out, the bed linen is damp due to the climate. The room cleaning was pleasant, water is left every day for 0.5 liters per person. There were practically no people in the hotel and tourists are being watched like monkeys, the staff is friendly, but at the end of the trip there is a feigned politeness and a desire to get rid of us as soon as possible…The weather is a complete disappoin**ent, the reviews wrote short-term rain once a day and then the sun, and you can swim in the ocean, as a result, constant rains with small gaps, strong wind. Bottom line: we advise you to fly to Sri Lanka in the dry season, or rather, to select regions of the island that are more suitable for the time of year. Excursions partially save the situation, you can rent a bike yourself, but be prepared that there is practically no chance to find a good and comfortable motorcycle for you, local people rent mostly scooters, sometimes enduro, good classics are left for themselves, it is not possible to see much on such trips, due to the discomfort of landing and disorderly traffic, people, animals.
