Well, where to start… 1. We was met by a sweet girl in the lobby, at the first day, where she told us to pay a deposit of 150 euros, that we would get back, after our check out. Which we then did not. Another girl told us, that we had to pay city taxes, which we was not told anything about. Did not see it on their website. When we asked about it, and said it was bad service, she handled that very unprofessionally. 2. Later that day, I heard an employee talking very poorly about a guest to the receptionist. I could hear everything. That is so unprofessional, and I can’t even get my head around, that this is your standard of a 4 star hotel. 3. We also had a very bad experience with a French employee at the bar. Super rude attitude, rolling with his eyes, cause he couldn’t get an order of still water correct. We said it 4 times. Don’t be angry at us, for not listening. Don’t be in a service business, if you don’t like to please your guest. 4. The breakfast out first day, was excellent. It was buffet and very delicious. But all the other days was a morning restaurant with orders. I waited 30 minutes to get an order in. And 15 before I got my order, I finished it without any tea, water, juice - the girl went around with water for everybody besides me. My drink orders came when I had eaten my breakfast. 5. The rooms, doesn’t get clean enough. Finding others hair at the headboard, a dirty carpet. I respect that your bed sheets doesn’t need to be changed every day, but some nights was quite warm. (And not every country a used to air conditioning, so we sleep with windows open). 6. The lobby is beautiful, and a good bed, but that’s all there is to say if nice things. You really need to educate the young international staff, how to be service minded. A smile here and there, and eye contact, will goes a long way for the guests. Unfortunately because of such a rude attitude and bad service, we will not come back, nor recommend this hotel for anyone.
