Family Budget Inn

The staff was magnificent, especially during the 1st day and the last 2 days of my stay. The I promise the television had no sound for the local channels once I notified the office they had immediately come out to switch out my television and do everything they possibly could to fix that issue. The staff was prompt and courteous and understanding. The owner and his wife are fabulous people. They explained the process on how I could get some of my money refunded since I paid a higher price online versus the price I would have paid in person at check-in. I will stay here again next year

It’s not a bad little economy hotel. I typically opt for relatively cheap rooms when traveling. I don’t plan on doing much more than sleeping so don’t feel the need for luxury accommodations. Staff was friendly and the hotel had the amenities I often need, like ice, laundry, microwave, fridge, and a comfortable bed. The only problems were the electrical box next to the desk/table was not securely fastened to the wall stud and the cable connection for the tv was loose and couldn’t be securely tightened to the coax connector.

The towel rack was almost falling off the wall. The water faucet in the tub was so loose when I pulled up on the shower turn on I thought it might fall off.

I was issued a room that the door was sort stuck. It my whole body to push the door open. Couldn’t lock the door handle lock. The top lock was hard to lock. The phone in the room had no dial-tone. I tried twice to call the front desk but couldn’t. The clerk issue me a new room. The door card word at first but when I went to the car and came back, the card didn’t work. Went to the front desk to get the card re-activate but the clerk stated the the door locks, the phone worked. And now I have problem with my card so it must be me. How insulting! The new room, the fridge doesn’t work so my food went bad. The sink stopped up so bad that I couldn’t really use it. The bed sheets looked like they just straighten the bed after the previous guest and didn’t wash. Since she told me it must have been me for all the issues, I didn’t complain but I couldn’t sleep because of the dirty sheet! I didn’t even try the microwave because my food went bad.

Only downside was outdated. Other than that room & bathroom clean and very comfortable. Room size was nice sized with table/chair plus extra chair. Microwave and refrigerator included. Lady at front desk very nice.

Great value. Staff was accommodating. Quiet. A McDonald’s and two convenience stores right next door. Only complaint is that the direct tv signal kept going out. So it made the movie I was trying to watch, unwatchable.

The door to the room stuck so you had to push if very hard to open it. The towel rack was almost falling off the wall.

The room's smoke detector was in pieces. I took a picture and told the front desk. They had a maintenance man there in less than 10 minutes to fix it. The room was clean and comfortable. They did not have internet or breakfast but my stay was enjoyable. It is a comfortable place to stay with reasonable prices.

Entry and parking was rough. Broken plates, trash and cigarettes butts/ashes piled by the back entrance.
