It was very good value for me and comfortable for are stay. The bathroom was big and everything worked well. The Wi-Fi was excellent a good place to park our motorcycle at the side. A interesting historical building right by the Minster I would recommend.

Our room was dirty and smelly. The bed was broken and had been ‘repaired’ with screws which stuck out into the bed. The curtains fell down whenever we touched them and there was brick rubble in the wardrobe. I understand that it is a budget hotel but we booked through BuyAGift and the stay was described as ‘charming’ - far from it!

The place was dirty,cracked tiles on bathroom floor,shower head hanging loose and held together with black tape, sweaty smelling pillowcases,stained quilt covers,one teaspoon between 2 guests and carpet in wardrobe disgusting. I went to Dunhelm to buy new pillowcases aswell did not want to sleep on the ones there as they smelled as if they hadn't been washed.if it hadn't been a treat for my husband I wouldn't have stayed.
