Hotel le Saphir

We arrived early and we had a great reception and a ver warm welcome even though we arrived mid morning. Madame was totally charming and very helpful. Rooms are not huge but very clean and in a great location. Thoroughly recommend for groups of friends and also for families. Superb hotel and superb location.

We were so pleased and surprised by this little hotel, 2 mins from the smaller swimming beach in Biarritz. It was a really good location in the middle of the town The hotel manager could not have been more friendly and helpful, taking the time to provide us with a map (unasked) when we arrived and mark all the useful places. He was also happy to give us a hairdryer and provide beach towels for our stay at no extra charge and made sure we had a taxi on time to catch our train. Our room was upstairs at the front, a bright, very clean and spacious room with a big, comfy bed, lovely modern bathroom and great shower. The whole hotel was bright and nicely decorated. The rooms looking over the small garden area at the back looked slightly bigger and might be a bit quieter if you wanted that. Personally we liked looking out over the road (not busy) and Bar Basque opposite. One evening there was some nice live music in the bar and we enjoyed listening to it from our room before we went out to dinner. (It did not go on late or disturb us) Breakfast was a standard but perfectly acceptable continental breakfast served in the small bright breakfast room (croissants, bread, jams, juice, tea/coffee). I can’t vouch for the quality of the coffee as we didn’t have it. There is a small outdoor area where you can eat breakfast if the weather is good. And there is a very smart patisserie/ coffee shop right next door if you want to do your own thing. We had a perfect stay here and all in all we felt the cost represented very good value for money. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Ubicación privilegiada. Preciosa decoración. Limpieza extrema. Camas muy cómodas. Baño Impecable. Te aconsejo tomar el desayuno en la pastelería aledaña, tienen los mejores croissant que he comido en mi vida. No cuenta con estacionamiento, pero tienen un espacio para que puedas llegar en el auto y descargar el equipaje. El estacionamiento en Biarritz es caro. Te aconsejo, un poco de paciencia y buscar en las calles Rue Martias y la esquina de Rue Jules Ferry & Rue Pringle, eso es estacionamiento en la calle y gratuito. El personal trabaja hasta las 19 hrs. aprox, pero no hay problemas si llegas más tarde, usas tu tarjeta para entrar. Incluso si te atrasarás para el checkin, les avisas y ellos te dejan instrucciones de cómo entrar. Punto aparte la atención del amigo Alain, super amable, cariñoso, empático, siempre preocupado de ayudarte, buenos consejos, etc. No sería lo mismo sin él. Absolutamente Recomendable. Volveremos

Excellente adresse. Idéalement situé. Les chambres sont petites mais bien agencées. La salle de bain a été refaite récemment et la literie est confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien également et surtout excellent accueil et un vrai sens du service client. Bref un excellent rapport qualité au cœur de Biarritz !
