We spent four nights here while exploring Berchtesgaden. What a wonderful find! This is a great quality bed and breakfast in a large traditional German house. We stayed in the Kehlstein Suite which had two large balconies with views to the south and east - amazing views of the mountains including the iconic Watzmann and the Eagle’s Nest. Our accommodation was extremely spacious with a separate sitting area plus TV and a fridge tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was super clean with a whirlpool bath and superb shower which was also a sauna. Our hostess was kind and helpful and provided a brilliant breakfast with eggs cooked to order. We ate outside most mornings - what more could you ask for gazing at the incredible alpine views while enjoying your morning coffee? We also loved meeting Max the dachshund! Berchtesgaden is a ten minute walk but there are several excellent restaurants nearer than that. We really enjoyed our stay - don’t miss this beautiful Bavarian retreat!

We stayed here for 4 nights in a suite with the most amazing view of the mountains. The suite itself was very spacious with a surround balcony with doors off both the bedroom and living area. There was also a small area containing a fridge. The bathroom was spacious, modern with an amazing shower, separate large walk in wardrobe and a great hairdryer...for those requiring same. The owners were extremely helpful. Alpenvilla is about 10 minute walk downhill to the town centre. Just remember you have to go back up the hill. Great accommodation and a beautiful part of Germany. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten eine schöne, große, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Suite. Auch das Bad war sehr schön und geräumig. Alles top sauber. Wir hatten einige große Grünpflanzen im Zimmer die schon arg vertrocknet waren und viele Blätter verloren.. Frühstück war nicht sehr üppig. Wurde von der Wirtin hinter einer Glasscheibe nach Wünschen der Gäste zusammengestellt. Die Sauberkeit hielt sich in Grenzen. Wir hatten täglich fleckige Tischdecken auf denen das Besteck lag. Auch wurden, während wir frühstückten, in unserem Zimmer die Betten gemacht. Die Kleidung die wir ahnungslos auf dem Bett liegen ließen wurde vom Servicepersonal einfach in den Schrank gehängt. An den Schränken bzw. an den privaten Sachen hat man die Finger zu lassen. No Go!!

Positiv: - sehr nette Gastwirtin. - Zimmer waren sauber und im allgemeinen in Ordnung. - Minibar gut bestückt und günstig. - Bad relativ neu und schön. Negativ: - Sauberkeit in den Gemeinschaftsräumen lässt etwas zu Wünschen übrig (Spinnen). - Das Frühstück wird aufgrund von Corona hinter einer Glasscheibe aufgebaut und man kann dann bei der Wirtin bestellen, was man haben möchte. Sehr umständlich. Auch die Auswahl ist nicht sehr üppig.
