The hotel staff were great but the rooms are dated and very worn. The reason for my review is I booked the room and paid in advance through trip.com who neglected to pay the hotel for our two night stay. I paid a week in advance the $364.00 for two nights which came out of my account immediately. When we arrived to check in, the hotel wanted to charge me because trip.com didn’t pay them. The hotel was going to charge me $274. When I called trip.com customer service they said they paid the hotel and asked me to hold. I was standing at the hotel front desk as trip.com called and spoke with hotel staff. After a lengthy conversation they finally paid the hotel for my stay. When they came back to me off hold I asked them why they charged me $90 for their service and didn’t pay the hotel. Their comment was that they did pay them. I said I know you did - I’m standing right by the girl you just called. I asked them if they were going to credit me anything for the inconvenience and their neglect to pay the hotel they said that they couldn’t reimburse me anything and that they don’t set the prices. They (trip.com) were rude and unprofessional. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone.

Very Nasty and Filthy. Doors don’t lock and each room is connected to another room with a tiny chain doesn’t make you feel safe. Staff was so rude when you try to communicate with them that the room is unsatisfactory. Will not give refund Or make any accommodations. The place should be inspected ASAP

The room was disgusting...bed looked like it had just been used...dirty floor, different types of floors, not enough towels, stains, I was bit by some kind of bug 3 times, never going back. Would give no circle rating but this site made me do at least one

Why are we paying for this terrible service. This place is run down and disgusting. Half the lights and television doesn't work. The floors are gross , the rooms stink and sheets are stained. Worst of all , the place is infested by ROACHES. We moved from the first room because of roaches and still had roaches . They tried to convince us that the third room wouldn't but each room got worst. When I tried to show the maintenance the disgusting roach on the tv plug he or she wiped it off and tried to tell me it was saw dust. The man in charged completely ignored us when we tried to come to the desk with the situation and when he finally got to us he says he can't authorize a refund that we would have to wait for a manager to get back from Ann Arbor to do a refund that will take 4 days to come back on the card. When I spoke to this woman Kelli , she told me she was t losing her job for my little $91 . Did I mention every room has ROACHES!! Keep your business sanitary and no one would need their little $91 back in the first place. To top it off they call the cops on us to kick us and all my kids out of the room at night while we were trying to at least feed them before we left. I still don't know if I will get this refund but it is owed to me if not more. This place should be shut down. It's unhealthy for customers. We need to make everyone aware of bad business like this . They shouldn't be able to keep our money for services not being on point.

This was the WORST HOTEL BY FAR that I have EVER stayed in in 70+ years of traveling. We stayed at a motel of this brand earlier in our trip and it was OK. This one was not and we had to leave for health reasons. Of course, they refused a refund as well. I am not kidding-- there was poop inside the toilet, there was vomit on the curtains. The carpet was disgusting and obviously the room really stunk. It looked like someone threw a couple sheets on the bed but the beds had no covers or blankets. The refrigerator was so iced up it was unusable, and there was NO coffee maker or microwave ... even though it was supposed to have these amenities. We were on the third or fourth row of rooms and the further back the rooms were, the worse they were including parking lot . I was afraid to leave my car unguarded even though it was locked. We booked thru priceline so I will be very wary of doing that again as well. The front desk lady did not have our reservation at first, then apologized for not finding it for us (after she did find it).. we should have taken that as a warning and left before it got worse.

This hotel was the cheapest around in the area , and all the other ones were crazy expensive so we figured we’d give it a try. The woman at the desk was very nice, but the room was horrible. It was dirty, noisy and the tv didn’t work. One of the outlets looked like it caught on fire recently. They should be charging a much lower rate for these rooms if they are going to be in that kind of shape.

ALOT of broken items: door was leaning inward at the top and the bottom by at least a 1/2 inch, hinges rusted though working, door lock (loose fitting on the door had exposed battery pack and internal wiring) also needed to be reprogrammed through manufacturer instructions-three times electronic door cards reprogrammed, tub drain lever/cover broken and out of position-you can see behind the cover inside the wall, floor outlet where ac was plugged in was wide open!! exposed wires, no cover!! smoke detector didn't fit the existing ring it was mounted to. tub floor was cracked and yellowed. ceiling/wall trim was yellowed, coat rack had no hangers and worn away paint, tv remote was missing the battery cover and wasn't programmed to the tv. there was candy wrappers, a soda bottle, straw, and some dead bugs under the bed which also had a raggedy sagging linen material underneath the box springs. the carpet was dirty which blackened my socks within a couple dozen steps. also, the wifi was slow like dial-up. we prepaid for 4 nites, there was very little in the city not booked solid this weekend, but we spent one nite and found another place to book fortunately!! oddly enough, the room had no offensive odors. the owner clearly doesn't care about this place. the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly-they should work elsewhere.

There is literally nothing positive about this place. We we're supposed to stay two nights and we wouldn't have even stayed the first night if it hadn't been so late when we arrived. The second we opened the door it smelled like bleach and urine. We turned the AC on which also smelled of urine when the air blew. The carpets were stained, the floors were warped, there was ******** under the door jam that led into the bathroom, the sink was cracked, there was dried blood on our bathroom towels (which we asked for new ones and were told they didn't have any), and the mini fridge didn't work which after seeing the place I was glad I didn't need to put anything in it. I made my kids sleep on top and use their own blankets to cover with because I refused to let them sleep under because god knows what was in it. This place is literally to point where it should be condemned. We asked for our money back for the second night because of how disgusting the place was and he refused. He knows how bad his establishment is and will refuse anyone a refund and then get an attitude with you. Avoid at all costs if you want to be able to sleep good and to avoid catching whatever disease might be lingering there.

Horrific experience for my fiancé and myself. Needed a place for a two night stay and decided to try a place that years ago had been a great place for a bargain. Never again. Paid for a two night stay and could not stay in the room for even one. The door didn't lock, looked like it had been kicked in and the deadbolt didn't line up and the chain to secure it had been ripped out of the door frame. The next horror was the blood stained mattress that didn't even have proper sheets/blankets to cover it. The plywood under the floor was visible thru spaces between carpet "pieces", the A/C unit looks like it was sucker punched and had a huge hole in the top, even the trim was peeled back from the walls/floor. I immediately called back up-to the front desk and explained the situation about the door not locking and the state of the room, at this point we were already in our car since there was someone running around screaming about pedophiles while trying to knock down another door near us. I was told there was nothing they could do about a refund and for anything further to call for the boss in the morning. We were never offered another room or any sort of compensation. The next morning I called and spoke with someone and explained the issues and they took down my information for their general manager to call me back the following day. It has since been two days and no one has called and calling the office has proved useless.
