The Mercury, Blackpool - over 21's Only

Having stayed at the Mercury last year, my expectations were high given the high standard I experienced. I was not disappointed in the slightest, as the standard all round was outstanding. From the quality of the breakfast, the comfortable high quality beds to the exceptional customer service of the owners Gary and Jo. A truly second to none experience and we are already planning our trip for next year.

Excellent facilities with so much to offer. The bar and communal area are great. Jo and Gary are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic, great local produce that tasted great and was cooked to your liking.

Great stay in Blackpool. Room was lovely and clean, and very comfy. Breakfast was a stand out - all local produce and everything we tried was a 10/10. Gary and Jo couldn't have been more helpful, and the place overall has a really nice vibe to it. Would thoroughly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Blackpool.

Stayed for 2 nights at The Mercury and it’s an excellent B&B, we stayed in the 80s Rock Room as all of the rooms are themed. Don’t like using the word quirky but it is full of photos posters and music artefacts, right up my street. Breakfast was excellent , probably the best I’ve had in a B&B. Hosts Gary & Jo are most friendly and welcoming and run a tidy ship. Next time we come back to Blackpool, this will defo be our first choice of accommodation. Really enjoyed our wee break, hopefully be back sooner rather than later.

We stayed here for the weekend off the back of a recommendation and were more than happy. Finding the place was very easy. There’s no dedicated parking however there are NCP parking spaces directly outside. Rooms (albeit a little snug) were clean and comfortable, with everything needed. Fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms was a nice touch. Hosts Gary and Jo were very friendly, providing lots of great recommendations for the area as well as a hearty breakfast. Thanks for having us, hopefully be back again!

This is without doubt the best B&B I've ever stayed at, not just in Blackpool but throughout the whole country. It is immaculately clean and tidy. Gary and Jo definitely have an eye for detail and there isn't one thing that isn't considered. It's warm, cozy and has the most unbelievable music memorabilia through the whole building. The full brekkie was delicious and not shy on portion sizes, I didn't eat for the rest of the day :) We absolutely loved our stay here and we will definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time. Huge thanks to Gary, Jo and of course Henry the gorgeous dog.

Had a lovely stay with Gary and Jo, so friendly and helpful. Gary has a great knowledge of everything going on in Blackpool. The hotel is quirky and breakfast was cracking! We loved the decoration of the rooms and enjoyed looking at the posters throughout the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank You for a great stay Gary and Jo!!

A fabulous stay ! Thank you ! We come to Blackpool for Rebellion Festival every year and have previously had some awful B&B experiences. We are so grateful for the warm, friendly welcome and excellent facilities received at the Mercury. Gary and Jo are amazing hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly need. Delicious breakfast, great location and relaxed, music themed ambience and decor … oh and I forgot to mention - A RETRO GAMES MACHINE!!! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else now as this place has it all ..and more. Would recommend The Mercury 100%

First off Gary and Jo are a some of the best hosts in Blackpool. Nothing was too much of an ask. Meeting Henry the dog was also a wee added bonus. Breakfast was lovely and only found out on our last day that the yoghurt was homemade! No wonder it was so good. The breakfast space/bar was so cool and quirky to spend time in. We're big music lovers so access to the record player and music themeing throughout was right up our street. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Our room was the rock suite and was on point with its decor. Having the extra space for relaxing was ideal and the bed was super comfortable. The only teensy tiny thing I would criticise is that the shower tended to act up. But we made it work and it wasn't a hassle. We had an amazing time and hope to be back very very soon.
