The room was very basic and the walls paper thin so you could hear every word of someone else’s conversation at night. Didn’t get a good nights sleep. Food was good

I had a 2 night stay here, for the 2nd time and I really enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff and excellent spa facilities which I used twice.
Delicious breakfast as well.

We only stayed one night but was very clean, extremely comfortable beds, better than premier inn. Generally showing some signs of wear and needing a little updating but if this doesnt bother you its great. Very good value and will be going back.

Drinks not available due to weekend free drinks session
Food took 50 mins to appear & poor quality
Catering appeared to be a problem possibly due to coach load of visitors?

Small room, not that clean. Coffee cup had a lipstick stain on it. Bathtub was in disrepair. Burnt out lightbulbs in the bathroom, right over the mirror where you need it most. Staff was not friendly but not rude. Maybe indifferent? They didn’t seem to have customer service as a priority. Not even a bottle of water to be found in the room or anywhere nearby.

I have been stolen my bag from the room while i wasn't there and when I mentioned the fact to the staff they were indifferent as nothing happened.

Booked in for an overnight stay for me and my little girl. She chose to stay at the Angus as part of her birthday.
The service was amazing and we were made to feel so welcome. Can’t remember the name of the guy who was in restaurant serving the tables but he was lovely! My little girl thought he was a graduate from Hogwarts due to the “magic candle” on our table!! The food was really nice, so nice in fact that my 10 year old ate a full ‘Surf n Turf’… the portions were adequate and very good quality. The staff go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are on hand if you have any questions.
Having the pool and spa facilities made our stay a bit more special.
Highly recommend for a stay 😁

Excellent location for a stay in a lovely area. Staff were all good so no problems there - some nice meaty sausages at breakfast (locally produced) might be a selling point!
