Convenient location for geysir and gullfoss. Nice hot tub. Pool smaller than the pictures. Small bedrooms, but amazingly comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities and nice food at the club house Very friendly staff.

Good solution for a visit in the Golden Circle area. The cottage is OK, nothing special, but it has all the necessary equipment to prepare your dinner. Staff is supportive, the restaurant does not look not great and somehow it has a strong smell. Price-quality ratio is acceptable

Our cabin was truly amazing, it had everything you needed and it's in a perfect location to see all the touristic attractions in Iceland arund the Golden Circle. The hot tube is just dreamy, the water is really hot and the location is superb, with wild horses in the area. It would be a great place to see the aurora (we weren't lucky though). The owner is such a friendly woman, she told us a lot about the Iceland traditions, we had a traditional meal there and she even baked my father a cake for his birthday. This to me, is going above and beyond. We loved the cabin, it had big windows and the view was so beautiful. It was really warm inside, which we loved, but you can lower the radiators or open windows if you prefer colder temp. Regarding the price - I looked a lot around before booking and this property had the best priced, so great value for money. Of course, you also need to rent a car. Thank you - we would go back anytime.

The cabins are generally quite reasonable, relative to the price in Iceland. We enjoyed the stay, just one night. We chose the place due to its proximity to the geysers and waterfalls Brúarfoss, Gullfoss, Brúarhlöð The view is quite good, it was hard to see the glow due to the lights of the place. The place is nicely maintained, the kitchen is fully equipped, nothing was missing for cooking dinner. Bedrooms are small in bed size, but there is a spacious living room and dining area, so there was no problem of space to conduct oneself in the cabin. The service is human for a change in Iceland - not with receiving a code to open a small safe with a key as it was in most of our places. You get a key and directions to the cabin from the reception, located in the hotel restaurant. The menu of the place looks good, but we did not eat in the restaurant. There is a jacuzzi and shared pool, which didn't look the most inviting, but we didn't use them due to the weather. You are asked, as in many places, to take the garbage with you and wash the dishes. All in all, good and highly recommended service.

We stayed at Uthlid Cottages in March 2015 where we had a chance to observe the magnificent Solar Solstice. For 4 people the cottage had everything we needed for 2 nights. We were really lucky as one night we capture the Northern Lights which was the second goal of our trip.

Very pleasant stay in 4-pers cottage including hottub. The cottage was very cosy, spacious and clean. Beds were good. Bathroom was quite new. Kitchen a bit dated, but everything you need is present. Very nice view from the livingroom/balcony. Hottub is delicious, we enjoyed it multiple times, watching the landscape. Breakfast can be included, they deliver at your cottage. Very good value for money!

This was just ok for my husband and I while we were doing Iceland via camper-van this time around. We checked in at the restaurant and paid but service wasn’t really friendly. The next morning a man in a truck came around and asked us if we paid and left when we said yes. The pool was closed but hot tub was open. We did laundry here. There is one washing machine and one dryer. It automatically dispenses detergent, no need to bring your own. The night we checked in several couples were in the common area cooking inside even though there were signs posted no to do so. The shower room has 4 open communal showers and one toilet. Even though someone came in to “clean” while I was there there was no toilet tissue and none was placed the whole time I was there. Only trash removed. The campsite had electric, that was a plus. Expensive for what it is. Down where you camp there is only restrooms, no showers. You have to go up the hill by the restaurant to shower.

It was very good.The sink was a little bit small.The restaurant was also very good. It was a very good place to see the northern lights. It was very cosy in the cottage. The table was also very nice .
