Hotel propre ,bien situé, mais gros point négatif : l hôtesse à l accueil: accueil déplorable, mal agréable se permet de nous dire arrogante et sur d elle que la chambre été réserver que pour 1 jour et pas régler,alors que la chambre été payer et réserver pour 2 jours depuis 2 mois! Après lui avoir dit de bien observer son PC,elle s en est enfin aperçu ! Waou! Pas même 1 petite excuse...bref d une impolitesse et d une arrogance totale on a vraiment eu l air de déranger.C est la première fois que somme reçu de la sorte dans un ibis.En revanche personnel ménager sait dire bonjour à la clientèle lui!et fait son travail correctement

This is a really lovely hotel - all the windows and doors were open when we stayed during hot weather so the place was light and airy. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Our room looked out onto the terrace and garden area where guests can have a drink and or something to eat. The breakfast offered a lot of choices and was very good quality. If you have never been to Amboise before it is a beautiful place with plenty to see and do but there is very little in the way of public transport and we struggled to get a taxi back to the train station. Depending on how quickly you walk the hotel is about a 25 minute walk into the centre which is beautiful.

The hotel is conveniently located, 5 minutes drive from Shenonso Castle, free parking, clean and tidy rooms, comfortable and clean bedding, free mineral water and tea bags, and a hot water bottle. The room is designed for French pastoral, warm and sweet. The only downside is that there is no elevator luggage to be carried by yourself. A little tired

This property is NOT 5 star - maybe 3.5 star. The bedroom suite was not clean with dirt on the carpet. Wash hand basin grimy and had to be cleaned ourselves before use, Room drinking water not replenished, tissue box empty, no spare loo roll, etc. Sloppy housekeeping. The decor throughout was tired and worn and cannot even be called shabby chic! Bedroom furniture tatty with drawers and cupboards not closing properly.Restaurant was very mediocre with limited choice. Bread rolls were uncooked inside and butter rock-hard and clearly straight from the fridge. Servers did not know the menu or wine list and to wear trainers in what is supposed to be a 5 star restaurant? Really! Staff should be sent on a training course at a real 5 star establishment to be taught how it should be done. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Bad luck if you are allocated a first floor room with others in the room above as the floors creak terribly. This hotel is very overpriced for what is offered. We suspect the owners think they have a good looking exterior (true) which is sufficient to attract guests. Well, we will not be returning and there are so many better properties in the Loire Valley area. Sorry to be so negative but this place was very disappointing and needs to be revitalised with better management )and some money being spent) before it can stand as a five star property.

The room is new and large, and the self-driving is convenient. There is a Chinese buffet nearby. The hotel has a sauna. It is very large. It is very pleasant to steam after playing. There are many parking lots, free parking for him.

The accommodation is located in a quiet manor with its own vegetable shed and a swimming pool. It is very pleasant to walk in the manor. Like the photo, the hotel is a castle with a sense of age. The common living room and dining room are decorated in European retro style, as if back to that era. Compared with the room facilities, the room is more general. First of all, there is no air conditioning in the room. There is an electric fan. The high temperature warning in France was very hot in those days. Secondly, there is no trash can in the room, and there is a small toilet. No paper is provided. The shower can be sprayed with a top spray, and the hand shower cannot be fixed.

We stayed in Arpentis because we wanted the unique experience of staying in a real chateau while in Loire Valley. The chateau itself had evidence of neglect (stained rugs in the hallway, missing tiles in the ceiling) and was somewhat run down but the grounds were lovely. It had an ample supply of taxidermied specimens. The proprietor barely engaged with us but he was pleasant enough when he did. He basically gave us the key to our room and we were on our own. Our room was comfortable enough with a view of the chateau grounds. Breakfast was basic and not worth the cost in my opinion (baguette, pastry, and store bought yogurt along with coffee and juice), we only had it once. A communal kitchenette with a toaster oven and refrigerator was available but it wasn’t very well appointed (no napkins or towels/dish rack to dry your dishes, for instance). Guests also had access to a washer/dryer which we appreciated. Since there were no meals available at the chateau other than breakfast, we drove to the nearby town of Amboise about 10 minutes away at night which was inconvenient because parking there was hard to find. We brought baguette, cheese and wine on our last night and picnicked on the grounds. WiFi was weak and unreliable which made it difficult to purchase our tickets for Chambord, Chenonceau, and Villandry. Overall, Arpentis was a unique experience but it was expensive for what it offered and was not the most comfortable or convenient stay.

3 jours plutôt mitigé : Points positifs : la région sans nul doute ! Magnifique région, on en prend plein la vue !!! Le complexe est hyper sympathique ! Beaux bâtiments et espaces verts au top !! Très grands espaces ! Très appréciable !! Accueil au top 👌 très sympathique ! Aspects négatifs : la propreté de l’appartement reste tout de même à revoir… beaucoup de toiles d’araignées (avec leurs gentilles propriétaires et plus si affinités) logées un peu partout dans l’appartement, le sol pas vraiment très très clean, les joints de la salle de bain à refaire, les portes et plinthes soient tachées soient remplies de poussière…, une plaque de cuisson d’un autre temps (mais ceci dit qui fonctionne parfaitement!), des draps troués et des oreillers très peu confortables, de la poussière un peu partout, une moquette pas vraiment propre (taches ici et là), et le wifi peu accessible et peu fiable. Quel dommage pour un 3 étoiles… un petit peu plus de sérieux sur la propreté serait un atout indéniable ! Ceci dit, nous avons tout de même passé 3 journées super !
