Hotel Holiday- Alla Finestrella

感覺良好的酒店

We had an pleasant stay in Bologna. After discovering Bologna we spent one night in hotel Holiday. Hotel location in old town next to Finestrella is great. They have a garage (on request), free coffee in "lobby", friendly and helpful hotel staff with a lot of helpful information and much more. Building is old as the town so you must accept few "-" and the fact that in the room you will find Italian type of electric plugs, ... All together. It is a nice hotel for one or two night in Bologna.

Manolis bár supervisor soo freindly. The Hotel was soo nice. Beautiful place. I was glad to be here. We'll be back next year. The people are very nice and helpful. The best people are Manolis and Gabriel.

It's a disgusting place, with the rudest reptionist I've ever seen. I booked a room in booking, where it was indicated that I would be with two children 10 and 5 years old. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said that I had to pay an extra 30€ for a child. And also pay city taxes, which were included in the room price on the hotel page in booking. When I said that the details of the children were indicated in Booking at the time of booking and the tax of 7.27 € was already included in the amount that I paid through the application, the hotel worker took off his mask and started shouting that it was not his problem, that booking meant nothing, it's all automatically wrong and I can go and look for another hotel. Defiantly waving a booking paper in front of my face. And showing that he will now tear it apart. I didn't plan on the additional cost of 30€ per child, this person actually left me on the street with two children. After I having traveled 2000 km to escape the war country. Also, in Booking it was indicated that the hotel has parking, this is not true. And that can be a big problem for people like me who arrive by car and find out that the nearest parking lot is underground, a few blocks away. By the time this review was posted, they had changed the parking information. As a result, the hotel canceled my booking, stating that I had problems with the card. This is a lie, everything is fine with the map. I book hotels very often. This was the first time I chose a hotel with a bad rating and I really realized that I need to pay attention to the rating in the future.

The location was very convenient and very central, although the hotel was situated in a small dark alley and it seemed a bit unsafe at night. The room was clean, but it seemed neglected: old bed covers, filthy and cracked walls and old furniture. Also, you could hear anything that took place in the hallway, there was no privacy. They had weird rules, like the one that charges you extra if you bring food into your room or if you take food from the breakfast you have already paid and bring it to your room! Thankfully, we only stayed there one night. I don't recommend it for more than that.

This was my second stay at the Holiday. It's cheap and it's located right in the city centre. The rooms are clean - and rather small. But if you're only looking for a place to sleep I can definetly reccomend the Hotel Holiday. The staff is friendly and welcoming and also really helpful.

Very rude staff, if you can avoid this hotel and choose to go to another one. The Manager has no professional ethic at all, he likes to steal money from tourists. If yo can avoid this place, it is not worth/.

I booked this hotel and made a mistake with the dates. I accidentally put Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th of August instead of Monday 16th to Thursday 19th of August. I called the hotel immediately to apologise and to amend the dates but they wouldn't answer their phone. When I finally got through to the manager there was no flexibility. The manager didn't want to cooperate or give any help or solution. The manager was happy to keep my money and not refund me. On Booking I can see that there were rooms available on the new date and the agent event confirmed that there were rooms available, but the hotel didn't care. They said It was not refundable due to their "No cancellation policy". This made no sense as I didn't want to cancel, just move the date closer. I even offered to pay double for their inconvenience. But the hotel manager didn't want to assist. Booking, even called the hotel manager on my behalf and the hotel manager was rude to the booking staff. I turned up at the Hotel and the manager refused to speak to me or help me. He openly said he was happy to take my money and not give me a room despite the hotel having availability. Please don't use this hotel, he will take money from tourists and not give you a room!

Sono stato un paio di settimane fa a Bologna con la famiglia, abbiamo svelto.questo hotel perché situato in una posizione ottima, attaccato al centro e vicino alla stazione dei treni (15 min a piedi). L'hotel è piccolino, ma ben pulito, il personale educato e gentile, a differenza di ciò che ho letto in recensioni passate, ci hanno fatto lasciare i bagagli nella hall sia quando siamo arrivati (un paio d'ore prima del check in) e sia quando siamo andati via (dalla mattina fino alle 17). Non posso giudicare la colazione perché non era compreso nel prezzo e dovevamo pagare (se non erro) 10€ a persona a colazione, un po troppo secondo noi! Però al di fuori di questo consiglio questa struttura a chiunque voglia passare un paio di giorni a Bologna
