SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO in Porto, Portugal. Walk everywhere as long as you have strong, comfortable shoes, particularly ones with good ankle support. Our BnB was on R. Corpo da Guarda very close to Sao Bento Train Station so perfectly located to seeing & doing fun things! When your feet have had enough of the beautiful cobblestone streets & hills, I recommend trying the Living Tours double decker (Red/Blue Line) bus tours. Antonio & Anabela were great! One thing that wasn’t so great were the beggars. We made the mistake of not being able to secure our luggage in lockers while waiting to check into our BnB and brought them with us to an outdoor restaurant. Three separate times beggars came right up to our table while we were eating. Additionally, at 5am in the morning from our Bnb you could hear a female beggar SCREAMING something in Portuguese at the top of her lungs while walking all around the Sao Bento Train Station area. This happened almost every day the second week of our stay, not the first week. As long as the indoor window shutters were closed, we couldn’t hear a thing.
