Premier Inn Bournemouth Westbourne Hotel

Food was fantastic and saff very friendly and helpful.

No problem with the hotel but very limited on parking ,, at reception there is a map with parking suggestions and on street parking is one . Beware this area isn't the best as we found out the next day when our car had been broken into and our holiday luggage taken . Crime in the area is starting to become an issue we found out after talking to local residents

Good hotel, well positioned. Parking is limited, but fairly priced. The only issue we had was misinformation about needing to book an evening meal

Was a bad experience from the get go with 2 children getting there for 3pm check in the room was no ready till 4.30pm with 2 tired children. The bedroom light was not working, toilet was blocked, shower gel bottle broken, crumbs on the floor upon entry with a a toddler extremely dangerous bathroom smelt very bad for entire stay from entry.

Rooms were clean, but very dated. Need modernising. Might put some people off, we didn't mind. Staff were great, really friendly, usual issue though of not enough staff provided by the hotel. Some queue times. Breakfast was a disaster, kitchen issues meant it took us over an hour and a half to have breakfast. Hallyways smelt off, not sure what of. At one point one smelt of sewage, not ours luckily. Price was reasonable for the location. For us it was just a bed/base for the night and to get changed etc.

Regards the room itself , the air condition (which we didn’t use) was making a dripping/ gurgling noise all night long , keeping us awake. Then next door was so noisy due to the walls being so thin! On top of this, breakfast was the worse breakfast I’ve ever had at a premier inn. Eggs cold , bacon cold and the tomato looked sad! Then the coffee machine wasn’t working so we all had to walk into the other room to get coffee. All in all a poor experience and as a football team we have agreed to Consider using a different hotel company going forward.

TBH after reading the reviews and paying the lowest online room rate available in the area I was bracing myself for a shocker but was pleasantly surprised in some ways… By some form of miracle I managed to snag the last car parking space at 7:30pm (some folk had parked on double yellows!) and £7 for overnight parking is a bargain in Bournemouth. Efficient welcome, not overly friendly but not rude either. Got the job done. Skipped the restaurant as it was full of contractors boozing and resembled some kind of working man’s club from the 80’s… found a lovely little Italian down the road instead - Pinocchio’s, highly recommend! Reasonable nights sleep, despite a slightly stale smelling room (had the window open, which is quite unusual). Shower was decent but nearly out of soap. We were up at 5am to catch a ferry so didn’t have any breakfast but the location was perfect for getting to Poole Ferry Terminal.

I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn on several previous occasions and been quite impressed, it is a great location for the beaches town centre and walks, although this time I thought that the hotel needs a refurb, there were areas where carpets were worn and marks on walls and filings, the room this time was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in a Premier Inn , there was hardly any room between the bed and the walls and very tight at the bottom of the bed, the desk was very narrow and could not be used to work on (if needed to), although the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet style and as it was busy the re-stocking of items was slow and had to wait or request more items. The car parking is good although a little expensive.Overall I was disappointed with the hotel compared to other times I’ve visited.

Excellent hotel staff work very hard bed was very comfortable and brilliant night sleep 😴 definitely be returning
