Bowentown Beach Holiday Park

A super spot, great for families and fur babies too! This was not our first time at Bowentown, but the first time taking our dog too. The park has good facilities, friendly staff, clean amenities and an abundance of good walks and activities on your doorstep.

A beautiful park. The showers were lovely and hot. So nice to have the use of a hair dryer. I didn't like it when the automatic lights went out at night when I was in the shower. There was a shortage of lighting when it was dark. The wonderful beach is so close.

What a beautiful place to stay. Campground was humming and everyone was friendly and relaxed. Staff were very friendly and very helpful with anything that was needed. Place was clean and tidy and had everything you needed in terms of facilities. Big bonus having the beach on your doorstep. Will definitely be back!

That was wonderful to experience excellent clean and well maintained facilities. The campsite is the best view you can get and we have appreciated that so much. The B2 camp service has a slight dip where the caravan awning sit that can be an issue when it rains. The awning floor will then be flooded. If this can be levelled and fixed I will definitely rate the holiday park 5 out of 5.

Wonderful studio unit. Felt like a modern hotel room. Comfortable bed and couch with plenty of space in the room. Shower heat and pressure was great! Had everything you needed. Would recommend this beautiful place which is also right near the beach. Bowentown domain is a nice place to go for great views

The holiday park is immaculately maintained and facilities spotless. From the warm welcome to coffee during the day the park is perfect. Great walks and fishing/kayaking in the area. Plenty of space and doesn't feel crowded. A favourite retreat for us and sure to be back again soon.

There park is located at the southern end of Waihi Beach with easy access to beautiful stretch of beach. Just over the hill there is the huge estuary for safe boating and fishing activities with 2 launching ramps nearby. The camp has all the facilities and accommodation options including a nice cafe. Highly recommended.

What an absolutely amazing place. Excellent cabins, impeccably clean amenities, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. So peaceful and close yet far away from shops. My family has found their new happy place. Highly recommended.

Awesome campground. Facilities were so clean staff helpful and friendly. My attempt at booking online failed but I left a message and had a call back within the hour. Staff person who made the booking was super friendly. Check in staff were super friendly. All the staff were....super! Amazing coffee too Will happily recommend and will return.
