Bowness Bay Suites

Is this a ****** hotel? Due to some schedule problems, I could not arrive at the hotel very early, but I drove as fast as possible on the way from Edinburgh. Most importantly, I called the hotel twice in advance, explaining that I would arrive at 11:30 to check in, and the hotel said that he would wait for my arrival. However, when I arrived at 11:30, the landlord came out and scolded us and told us that the reservation had been canceled, and his attitude was very, very bad. There were two middle-aged men in total, their expressions were very fierce, and they treated us with a very bad attitude after the trip. As a young girl, it was difficult not to be afraid when facing such a scene in a foreign country. As the hotel did not inform us of the cancellation in advance, and only on short notice after we arrived, where the humanitarian was, it was hard not to suspect that they were ****** towards us. The last-minute cancellation left me with nowhere to go for a night in Windermere, and I really don't recommend booking this hotel unless you want a scary, ****** experience on your trip.

非常垃圾的酒店。酒店老闆非常不友好，不接受小童入住。酒店是私人房產，門廳狹窄，樓梯窄而陡。而且這個酒店預訂一定小心，所謂的預授權擔保，然後入住後付是空話，老闆通常會提前划走房費，然後你愛住不住，他看不順眼也不讓住，不給退錢。

Wow, so impressed! In an absolutely perfect location, the place is spotless and has a touch of class.. We were met on arrival by Martin who was the perfect host, very friendly and customer focussed. The room was just perfect, a lovely lounge area and a tastefully decorated bedroom, we felt we just wanted to stay in! The view at the back, was of the lake and at the front you look out onto the street, both lovely views. It was like home from home, a brilliant little touch is that fresh milk is provided and topped up every day. Little things like this make all the difference. Martin was there to chat away as we left, an absolute credit to the business. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much Dale and Kerry.

Absolutely gorgeous.The owner was fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. The room … cat bells suit was fabulous, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.Please stay if in the area, you definitely won’t regret it…. 5 stars is not enough!!!

My wife and I booked a last minute trip away over the weekend 2-3 November. We've stayed at a number of hotels and B&B's over the years, in a leisure and business capacity so can be quite choosy. After some due diligence we decided to give Bowness Bay Suites a try. To say we were not disappointed is an understatement! This place is fantastic, the room was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. We stayed in the Hilltop Suite - one of 6 in the building and I suspect every one will be of the highest quality. What made the stay extra special was the customer service. Our host Howie met us outside and helped my wife inside with the suitcase as I went to park. (They also offer a great deal for car parking) He is such a lovely guy and you can instantly tell he takes great pride in putting the customer first. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and wants nothing more than for you to enjoy your stay. We would not hesitate to book here again if/when we ever get chance to have another free weekend away from work/grandparent duties :-) Great place, great location, great hosts!

Perfection!! The room was immaculate and had everything you could need, the attention to detail was amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bowness Bay Suites. Howie and Martin were the perfect hosts and the bonus of £5 parking permit Just added to an amazing stay.
