Skaritz Hotel & Residence

A really lovely building with great rooms. The beds were nice. We got into our room and commented on the temperature which was a little like being in the Sahara. One bottle of water per stay, not per day. We asked for the air con to be sorted. It’s centrally controlled and only cool for a couple of times per day. A fan was brought to the room. This was the equivalent of an asthmatic nun blowing air on you and as noisy as a jet engine. A real shame as everything else, including the service was great. Just need the temperature sorting.

Location is absolutely fantastic ! Central to everywhere. We visited the visited the Xmas markets which were amazing. Stumbled into a brilliant live music band. The only issue we had with the hotel is no milk so could not enjoy a cup of tea . We asked the reception for some and they didn’t have any. Also would of been nice to have an option for breakfast . Would stay again.

The hotel was good and clean, and room had enoughspace. Bathroom was clean and nice. Reception was good and helpful. They were only misy to give some more coffee and tea bags, and also only one small water bottle for 3 nights.... It would also more better to had breakfast served inside the building. Finally it was in the heart of the old city, near to everything.

The Skaritz is located in a historical building on Bratislava's most touristy street, the pedestrian Michalska with many shops and places to drink or eat. The hotel itself has no restaurant, thus no breakfast is available. If requested one can get a voucher for 12€ to have breakfast at a nearby café as of 8.30am. Check-in was easy and friendly. I was given a room on the third, the top floor, with a sloping ceiling and high up windows, which were hard to open, even for an almost 6ft man like me. Definitely not much of a view. There was plenty of space around the double bed. It had a desk and a mini bar, which I didn't use. It was quiet at night, if one kept the windows closed. The bathroom had a giant bathtub with a shower and a dispenser, but at the washbasin there was only a small bar of soap. What I liked the least about this hotel was the room service, which was supposed to be available till 4pm. For this one had to put a sign outside the door, which I always did, when leaving early morning. When I returned after this hour on the first day, nobody had touched my room. After I complained at reception, the room got serviced the next days, but then towels or the bathmat were taken away and not replaced nor were there given any new coffee sachets, when they had been used up.

What a gem of a hotel, right in the heart of Bratislava. Just minutes away from Michalská Gate and many fabulous restaurants. We had a lovely suite (15) on a corner which afforded views of two streets. The amenities included robes and slippers along with a mini fridge, hot plate and microwave, fireplace and lots of closets. I would definitely stay here again. Please note that there is no parking at the hotel; however parking is only a few minutes away.

We stayed in this ‘Hotel and Residences’ located in the heart of old town Bratislava for three nights. Our apartment was large, faced Michalska Street. I found street sounds reasonable; I enjoyed my window street view observing life flow and street music. It truly felt like I was in Europe. Highlights: Spacious place, beautifully redone hardwood floor, and the most comfortable beds we slept in during our Slovak trip. Front desk people were friendly and gave us good city transit recommendations. Lower lights: no ceiling lighting in the living room; I found this area to be dark. A free Wi-fi connection was “unsecured’’ we hesitated to use for our credit payment, a small TV set on the large wall, and an uncomfortable, well-used sofa. Covid service restriction came as a surprise for us: No, or limited housekeeping, no mineral water in the room, no free in-house sauna for guests. During time of our booking, we were not informed about these service restrictions. I would recommend this place to stay, if you do not mind covid service restrictions, to all travelers who are in a search for old city charm due to its location. Everything is so close. You can reach all main points of interest: Slovak national Theater, The main square, Bratislava Castle, St. Martins Cathedral by short stroll from your hotel. You will explore the Old town and see stunning views of amazing Bratislava, as you were dreaming at your home.

Decent hotel. A little pretentious claiming its a luxury hotel accommodation. Notwithstanding that, the price value reflects what it is a decent hotel. My room was basic enough. Paid €102.00 for two nights so found that good value. The location is perfect. They claim to have a sauna. It's was off in March and mot available. Service at desk could have been better. Asked for a small drop of milk for tea for my room and young lad on desk they didn't have any. Other that than that I found it good value and great location.

Ótima localização, ao lado de restaurantes, confeitarias e muitas lojas de souvenirs. Perto de todos os pontos turísticos da cidade. A caminhada até o Castelo é um pouco longa, mas é possível mesmo para quem não costuma caminhar, como é o meu caso. O quarto era muito grande e confortável. Tinha 2 poltronas, chaleira elétrica, água e saquinhos de chá e café. O chuveiro é ótimo e a banheira bem atrativa para relaxar. Não é possível fazer late checkout, só pagando. No entanto, se prontificam a ficar com as malas até o horário que for conveniente para o hóspede retirar no mesmo dia. Como fica na linda área histórica da cidade, não passa carro nem ônibus na frente. Para pegar o transporte público para ir até estação ferroviária, era necessário caminhar umas 2 ou 3 quadras.

ミハイル門を入ってすぐ、中心の広場までもすぐです。少し年代を経ている感じはしますが、とても雰囲気のよい、快適でどこへ行くにも便利なホテルでした。ベッドは硬さもちょうどよく、シーツも抜群に清潔で、もう一泊したいくらいでした。シャワールームも清潔で広さも使いやすく、暖房もよく効いていました。天窓のある、伝統的な建物の趣きがとてもほっとする感じです。フロントサービスは夜は19時までとチェックインのときに言われましたが、夜10時過ぎにオペラを観て帰ったらフロントの方がドアを開けてくれました。一階のレストランも利用してみたかったです。
