We booked the accommodation 15 days in advance via ***********, which authorized our card. Payment was scheduled upon arrival at the accommodation, and the card served as "insurance" in case of non-payment. Check-in at the accommodation is scheduled from 4 p.m. onwards, so we left Dalmatia in the morning to arrive at the accommodation between 4 and 5 p.m. Somewhere halfway, exactly at 1:00 p.m., we received an email from Booking that the host could not authorize our card (which was already authorized by Booking) and that we have 2 hours to update the information, otherwise our reservation would be cancelled. Immediately after receiving the email, we re-entered the already correct and authorized data, but around 1:15 p.m. the owner of the accommodation calls us to say that he has already rented our room. Allegedly, he sent the notice at 10 a.m., not at 1 p.m. when it reached us. It's quite incredible that nowadays mail travels for exactly 3 hours :) Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this accommodationa, especially if it's not fun for you to be without accommodation halfway to Istria and to look for a place to spend the night during the busiest time for the Arctic Monkeys concert, which was held at that time and for which the most hotels and apartments were already booked.
